^^^ In the whole scheme of things, uncle buckie ... it doesn't mean a damned thing now does it? Both parties have us 14 trillion in debt. Both parties have been responsible for eroding our economic and political liberties. The real question now is, what are we going to do about it.

So after thirty years of fighting the good fight, bringing freedom to the front lines, founding the liberty movement, exposing criminals, and always backing the people you think Ron Paul would just do a 180? As abadonconflict said above, Depressing....Negative way to look at it...
As mentioned earlier in this thread there isn't many real tangible people out there that oppose Ron Paul, at least I havent met any, only the 4 or 5 on this board, The Ron Paul revolution is stronger than ever I do not doubt this and the real liberty movement is approaching a great milestone, They can't squelch us much longer, they can't infiltrate us as they did the Tea Party, the information revolution is changing the world and freedom is spreading, the people are rising up, we are fed up, its time for the CHANGE we asked for in 2008.
The real obstacles that Ron Paul faces are Image and Identity...two things that sadly a lot of Americans value over the real issues and over humanity(others). All you can do as a Ron Paul supporter is spread the good word, there is still a lot of people who have no idea who Ron Paul is and spread it in such a way that you appeal to the identity and image crowds.
Tell them things like this
Who Is Ron Paul- Ron Paul is the only veteran running, Ron Paul is the only doctor running and delivered 4,000 babies, he has been married to his wife carol for 60 years, Ron Paul is a family man and the is believed to be the most faithfull christian of all the canidates, Ron Paul will order the troops home immediately regardless of what his advisors tell him, Ron Paul will lower/eliminate taxes he fought to eliminate tip taxes from waitresses in New York, If they are into marijuana or medical marijuana especially tell them Ron Paul will let the states decide on marijuana, Ron Paul predicted the housing bubble and is auditing the FED etc...IDENTITY!

The only thing it really shows is that our parties (no matter which side) follow a trend of spend, spend, spend. While your argument is true now, take a look at the 08 number for Obama. You can hold on to that fact while it temporarily lasts.
