Holly shit got pulled over and the first thing they asked for was my phone.
I complied and gave them the phone they took it back to their car and hooked
it up to some machine. After about 15 minutes they found out that my smartphone
wasnt so smart after all...........................................................Hahahahahahahaha

well I wouldnt doubt if they could the technology is there for it(wifi, bluetooth) but now that I looked into this a little more it seems most sources are claiming that they need to have your phone in their possession for the machines that have been mass produced.

These types of crazy technology scare the hell out of me! You know the new "enhanced driver licenses/passports" in michigan? They actually have a RFID (radio frequency identification) chip in them that can be read from 15-20 feet away (apparently the only info on the chip is a number, but I don't believe that) to make it easier crossing the bridge into Canada and things like that. I've read that people can even buy data readers made by IBM that are able to read your credit card information from 5 feet away even when the card is in your wallet, in your pocket!! Crazy shit! Why can't we just live like they did back in the more simple times..geeze..Damn after reading into this shit about the smartphones I'm getting paranoid and I haven't even smoked in 9 months lol

Deprave where did you hear this? From what I've seen, it's much like a unit at your providers store. When you get a new phone and they transfer your info from your old to your new phone. They have to hook up to the phone to read it and it not like squad cars are rolling around with the gear in their trunks. Crime lab and some post have them as best as I understand. Pretty sure it's just the state boys too. For the people doing things they shouldn't, try Tiger text.

Just be sure your cars trunk can't be accessed from the cabin. You'd be surprised how often a leo "smells" marijuana warranting a probable cause.

I just watched the news last night on this matter the cops need a search warrant to look into your phone, unless you give it to them then they dont need one. And they need to hook there device to your phone it wont work unless they have your phone in hand. If you think about this, It could pick up anyones phone for the that matter whos saying that they got someones pics on the passing cars. Come on now people, remember if a cop ASKS you if they can do something then they cant! If you give them permission then they dont need warrants. I just watched the news last night its still against the 4th amendment. And if they do they are braking the laws if you get a good lawyer you could get it threw out.

I would imagine there are very very few officers with stuff like this. I would not worry but it you do I would just turn phone off before pulling over if possible. They could not grab info from a phone turned off I am sure of that.

i have a pay per use phone and it barely rings let alone take pictures, lol. take my shit off my phone, just might cazll my ex and then your in hot shit
