MH last week of flower????

hello all my fellow growers, i had a couple members ask if i ever thought about using the MH bulb for my last week of flower, im running a 600 hps in my tent, most of you have seen my videos and know what i got goin, i really want some opinions on this one, ive grown several crops great, but this has been brought up more than once, i wanna hear from experienced growers like myself or more, and would be helpful if someone has actually tested it to have seen the results from it, THANKS ALL!!!!!!

I'm actually doing this right now. Switched to MH my last 2 weeks. There are a few threads floating around, some of recent that talks about this method. We'll see if there are noticeable results but HEY, if most people are doing it with good results then we should see something nice.

I've no experience with doing that. But i have read a few times that MH will increase resin production in the last weeks.

You're probably not getting many responses because not many people have actually done it. When I switched to my 600 HPS I added a couple hundred watts 2700K cfls and a couple UV-B reptile lights to cover more spectrum. Will it make a difference.... I'll never know because I don't have a control. But 4 weeks in flower they are looking pretty good.

I know for a fact that dropping the humidity in the last couple will increase resin too. Thee dryer the atmosphere the plant willl try and protect its self from dry conditions by producing more resin

You should supplement in the MH with the HPS. It increases Terpines, not resin.

I run a 600 hps and I have 4 4ft t-12 reptile lights for side lighting. I have throw my 400 mh light in a few times in the past. It did not add resin that I could see but it added a little extra weight. I didn't take the hps light out I just added the mh with the hps the last 2 weeks of flowering Try it and see if you like it.

I would think the worst that could happen would be they slow or stop adding weight. Not the end of the world if you get some chunky buds right now.
