MH conversion bulb

i just ordered a 400 watt HPS and i was wonderring would it be really worth it to get a MH conversion bulb for vegging would this be quite a bit better for vegging is 4500k i thought opt was 6500k

I also bought that bulb for mine. Haven't used it yet as I am still designing my
grow space but for the 45 bucks it costs, I would say ya- more full spectrum
of light should be well worth it- I have seen and heard not-so great results
from vegging with an HPS- stretching,etc.

I just scrapped the plans for my CFL grow and picked up a 400 Watt HPS from eye hortilux. http://www.eyehortilux.com/superhps.html It has approx 20% more blue spectrum (pic 1). I hope it works out well because I only wanted to use one bulb for the whole process.
They also just came out with a 1000w hps bulb that covers a larger rage of the spectrum (pic 2). http://www.eyehortilux.com/superblue.html I wish they had this bulb in a 400w size because I would love to pick one up. :hump:

Mh will tighten up the nodes and make a healthy plant spectrums on conversion bulbs are not always dead on.

i feel that Venture makes outstanding conversion bulbs

and i really really like the light from sunmaster, hortilux makes great bulbs but for my digital ballasts i prefer sunmaster both bulbs sell around here 80-90

oh i was actually deciding on getting a son agro bulb i read good things about it anyone here have good results with it?
