MH 600 Watt For Flowering Last 2 Weeks Any Thoughts Anyone??

just a thought everyone, not complaining or nothing like that with the quality of my grow, I'm just hearing more and more bout UVB lighting and making more resin content and such, ok, does anyone know how much uvb MH 600 puts out??

I was thinking why not bulking up the buds with the 600 watt HPS u know to put weight on and such, and then change globe to MH for last couple of weeks, or while the flush is going on, i wonder what kind of effect this would have?

I've already got sparkling buds at week 5, but was maybe curious for my next grow, maybe someone else has tried this?


I think this would be beneficial to some degree, as i hear MH lighing produces fluffier more crystally buds, well, could this be a small crossroad to getting the best of both worlds??

Been thinking about this myself. I would like to get a hood that will take 2 lamps run from 2 dimmable ballasts, so i could mix the spectrums from MH and HPS as needed.

now thats a fucking idea! instead of 1 600, 2 400's 1 mh+ 1 HPS, smart thinking there PJ diaz, plaus u get the extra wattage, woiuld have to be an air cooled hood for sure with a krankin fan!! nice worth investing for sure, that would sure give off a really broad but close spectrum range, yep, yep

or even run MH on 250 watt, and HPS on 400 ohh yeah, has someone done this? this would be beneficial in a small tent for sure

I will get one if I can get a bigger tent, but for my current flowering space anything over 400w is really kinda overkill (6 square feet).

nice air cooled reflector on that site, mmm shipping weight = 19.8lb, thas 10kg, thats pretty heavy, dont think id wannt hang that in a 120x120x200H tent, nope, rekon the poles would buckle!, she can barely handle my fat indica nugs!
