another thought for heat loads and avoiding replacing bulbs all the time - the newer generation of LEDs. I'm playing with one that is the equiv of a 600HID and so far I'm impressed with the results. gotta do the homework and shopping though. i'll never need to replace a bulb :)

I haven't messed with out doors where I live. I don't think the neighbors would approve. My neighbors are snobbish, to say the least. Our 'elite' neighborhood is protected by the lord and his soldiers. I don't have anything against God, but I have 0 tolerance and respect for those people who try to abuse his name in order control other people and what they want to do.....get a life losers!!!!

Sorry bout that.:fire:

I've looked at LEDs several times but I cant get over the price. And, they take up a good amount of room so I don't think I could fit the same wattage of LEDs as HIDs in the same space. I'm all about overkill when it comes to lighting.

^where is a like button when I need one!

I also wish LEDs weren't so expensive. A problem that I have with LEDs is that they are usually no more than 6 band, meaning they emit at 6 different wavelengths. While I see them preform pretty well, they have such a narrow light spectrum (maybe marijuana doesn't use it all, but I doubt that). However, their almost non-existent heat load is certainly what is the most attractive to me. Speaking of next gen. lights, have you all seen the plasma emitter sources? Very low power imput but can cover a 4 x 4 area at 1.25' (at least that is what they advertise, who knows how good it is). Their light spectrum is super broad and almost mimics the sun (it even puts out in the UV, which is why they come with a UV filter on the lens). They are also solid state devices with an average rated lifetime of 30,000 hours (3.4 years). They are expensive as hell right now, but I geek out none-the-less. Sorry for the tangent in your thread, can't wait to see more updates :)

Well I originally wanted some kind of led panel but couldn't find the right one for the amount of money they cost...got a great deal on the plasma so I ran with it, will def. be buying more when I get more space

Im a little frustrated. I want bigger buds and what's worse is that I had to chop the top 4 inches off 8 colas on the LCK#1 because it's too big for my space. I'm at week three so I shouldn't lose anything in final weight. And I should still end up with ten 12 - 18 inch colas off that biatch!!!

My T-White is a clone only for the Cheese Heads. Seriously....If you like Cheese or Skunk buds, this clone is for you. I am in the process of stabilizing the Motivation and Pineapple Kush cross and will release it when I have something I know will always be the T-White. The buds look very similar to the Motivation pictures on Attitude, but much more frosty, turning all the calyxes white while the leaves turn pink and purple. It's beautiful medicine , extremely potent, and I want the world of Cheese Heads to have it! I'm smoking a joint right now, as a matter of fact.

Sorry brother. Must of just missed you cause I left at two this afternoon. I have three Lemon Chem Kushes budding and there all have one thing in common......buds filling in everywhere on the plants. I'm excited more to find out quality of these puppies and to see what the next move is for this cross. Plants get about 2 liters of PH 6.0 water every day. There is no sign of burning and I wouldn't expect it only using 1/4 strength nutrients. We are at week 3, day 3. I can almost pick off seeds from the Larry OG, of which two small buds were dusted with the PPD. Should be an interesting 20 or 30 seeds. The Armageddons are looking and smelling skunky, as I would expect, but nothing special yet.

Blue Gum from G13 tested as one of my strongest meds. I grew at the time I had things tested. Super quick flower, stretchy, nice neon blue and red buds, amazing high and flavor was out of this world! That one is perfect just the way it is...

Thanks man.

I second the motion. We all need to learn somewhere and the ones who know need a place to teach. So it's always good..
