Yes probably. More lights. I turn off the reds on my panel when I take pics because it messes with the camera exposure. I'm at about 150w actual. In a 2.5x3.5 closet. The main light is a 1000w eq Beelux. It's pretty decent for the $40 I paid. I have 3 2600k CFLs in there too for filler light. And that's all the heat I can take in there. Keeps me at 78f to 82f. Small fan moving air well.

You budgeted wrong if you spent more on seeds than lighting lol. Better light = better results.

Yes you would have grown a better plant with a better light, correct. You have how many plants in that 2.5x3.5 closet, two? Two seeds cost $50? I'm saying you could have purchased cheaper seeds and spent more on a light. Way to go to extremes...

Its very possible that I am older than both you and 28.35. Y'all didn't hurt my feelings I'm sorry. You just completely evaded my question and started attacking, with no further information because I'm not at your level. Wich is literally why afn was created. Did I say I bought 2 seeds for $50? Let's turn this nightmare troll session into a positive. Wich light should I have bought and wich 5 pack of autofem Mexican Airlines seeds should I have got. Serious question for serious growers. Help a guy out. Show me some options here. I'll be over on the adult forum, I will check back here later for a solid answer. By the way, there's 5 plants in that closet, you just can't see the 3 gelatos vegging nicely on the side shelf. The cloth pot is an OG Kush. All those gelatos are going outside in a while, they are topped and inside recovering. When the question becomes, how can I make my grow room better, feel free to criticize half of my lights that you can see and half that aren't even on. As long as it's how's my plant look, don't bother. If you asked how is my car looking today and I suggest you need to be running premium and stop using cheap shit in that... I'm not helping you am I? Happy father's day to the dad's out there. I'm going to go fishing with the family. Take care and be well.

You posted a picture and asked how it looked. You got a straight forward direct answer. That's not attacking. It's constructive criticism. My first post was on topic and not even close to evading your question...
How does your plant look? It looks stretched and elongated. Looks like it needs more light. If you took it as an attack, that's on you. Was I rude? No.
My point about seeds as I said is that you could have bought a 5 pack of something cheaper and spent more on a light. More constructive criticism, not an attack.
If you really wanted help then you'd actually listen instead of trying to defend when you get actual advice.

It's 105w actual draw. You have a 2.5x3.5 space which is 8.75 sqft. That means you need 306.25 watts of light to cover it. Even if you were at 150w total you're running half the needed light you need for that space. You should half the area you are growing in or double the amount of light you have.

Thanks for elaborating. Your answers did seem condescending without clarification. That said, I'm actually happy with how they look now knowing I'm only using half the recommended lighting. And 28.35 don't get me wrong sir, I do value your knowledge. But I'm not from aboutapoundville, haha, I'm from aquarterpoundifimluckytown. If you only could grow in a small closet like mine, Wich light would you choose? Because when that MexAir finishes, I'm putting in another but only one and I'm going to put a net over that like we do at work for the medical. I'm learning about that and schwazzing now.

I ask here because I felt like this is more of a home style diy atmosphere. At work we produce top shelf mmj, on a dizzying scale. I would be embarrassed to show him my home grow. This dude has been growing medical marijuana for a decade. I've started maybe 10 plants but finished only 2 Mostly goofy bagseed in homemade "space buckets with led and cfl bulbs". If you look at my old posts before I stopped coming here the first time you can see how much I have improved. One thing I can't help is my budget. That's how it is sometimes when you have adult children that need financial help. Money is limited around here. I humbly make due with what I have. Thanks for the good info though, it's not wasted on me. 105w total on that yep, sounds correct. I have 3, 15w cfls in there, that's where I get 150w. One is on that lamp, lighting lower canopy, the other two hang just out of view to help fill in top lights.
