Metal Temps...outdoor closet/vs/ winter & heaters

gonna start a new garden, seeds on the way, found a place to get metal halide 400 watters for 20 bucks each off craigs list!!! (wowooowee) Gonna DWC (wow) my flowering room is gonna be an outside storage closet on my balcony if all works well. My question is: will I need a heater for a small closet that is outside in TX during the winter months??? How hot does one, maybe two 400 w MH lamps get..how much heat are we talking about???
Any comments welcome, also anyone tried growing a strain called Ice? Look it those tricomes!!

Are those 400W bulbs, 400W ballasts, or both? If they are ballasts or both, that's awesome. If not, don't bite.

Well it might be 80 today and 45 tomorrow........it fluctuates so much the saying goes, "if you dont like the weather in Tx, just wait a minute"....and it's the truth!! It may snow/ice once or twice a year....i would say an average winter temp is between 40- 60 df, with spikes from -15 to 80

In that case I would invest in the cooling fans that triggered by temp...the lights will keep it worm enough (above 50 f)

yea, when it gets cold...it gets COLD!!! Colder sometimes than alaska~ serious...those are wind chill factors, but ya sure cant wear flops on those days!!!
