Metal Halide, High Pressure Sodium, or another T5

Here's a dilemma I'm having: I want a new light to add more lumens in the grow room. I have 2 T5's already. I was leaning towards a HPS or MH. I got T5s for the full spectrum because I have autoflowering and reg. seeds. What I'm wondering is, should I go for HPS or MH for straight light intensity or go with something like more T5s for full spectrum? Intensity vs covering all corners (veg to flower)?

What other benefits go with using an HPS or MH vs a T5? Besides light intensity..
I also am looking to keep it under $150 for my next light. I already spent about $300 on the two I have haha

T5's lack intensity, i'd go with the HPS , go with a 600 or 1000 watt they are the most efficient.

Quick question did you do any reading before buying everything you have?

The first thing under forums is general growing.

Next thing is newbie central..
Inside newbie central is
101 already asked questions..

Reading is the best thing you can do before ask. It's all there

-stress training when you get to that.

So what else do you want to know? That hasn't been put up.

But to answer your question about lights, i probablly would have spent $300 on this

Hey dickhead, you wasted more time writing that reply than you did reading my title. I'm asking because I felt like in a situation where I already have the lights to grow, what would be the best addition as of the communities opinion on MY specific situation. I know what the bulbs are and what they do. I told you why I'm leaning into hps/mh for the addition and wanted to know if anyone had any other input.

If we all spent the time running through hundreds even thousands of pages among tens of thousands of threads, then we'd be reading and not doing. So instead of just coming in here being a douche, tell me what you actually think. Plus, there's an answer to every question in the world on the Internet, it doesn't mean we can't go to other people for them too.

everyone situation is different. cooling is more of an issue with HID lights and some people here get amazing results with T5s.without knowing your growing conditions it would be impossible to offer an opinion on what you should get.we are not all A-HOLES here but we do have our share of them.

hps is a decent addition to the area. 600 for a 3 x 3area is the key

mine's 5x6. I was figuring either 600 or 1000?

What temperature is your growroom with your T5's? How much more heat do you reckon you can add? I use 315w cmh, just keep saving and go cmh. The agro 3100k lamp with your T5's would be a real nice spectrum. We all go over budget Don't feel too bad about it

That's not a bad idea. I'll look into it. I'm not worried about adding heat to my room, if I have to, I have the space to put in a small room conditioner.

The hps kit is not garbage quality either. if the bulb is shit, I'll go buy one at htg. I have enough reward points for a free one anyway.

I grow under two 315w cmh lamps in each 4ft x 4ft tent. 2 set up's. The light is white so you can see your plants with great clarity
