Anyone using Megacrop? I have been in growers coco and I'm getting some monster plants... I use their one part, sweet candy, seakelp, and bud explosion....I get free bags all the time...I also have their 2part but waiting to try it out. This is for sure my new grow style...biggest plants yet...20230706_113254.jpg20230706_113259.jpg20230706_113321.jpg20230706_113334.jpg20230706_113307.jpg

I add a tiny speck of Dawn dishwashing liquid too
To keep soil moist and pest down....I use hydroguard and vitc and yucca powder to all my water and bubble for 24hr...I use tap and they love it....and a water distiller for the foggers....16886768614108495433678962647712.jpg

I use jacks 321 with impello silica. Pretty similar formulas from what I've read.

Heard good things about bud explosion, but I haven't felt the impetuous to add any major amendments. I find the size of the roots dictate the size of my buds more than what I'm feeding when the general needs are met for each plant.

I'm liking the results....20230702_201237.jpg

Nice, are you running the plants in coco using drain to waste, nutrient film, flood and drain?

Beneficial bacteria never worked for my set up, had to go sterile all the way.

I'm using ac infinity self watering grow bases! They suck the nutrients right up.. and I'm using growers coco....seems to work quit well...what they can't suck up by next day I'll suck it out with a shop vacuum....16886955725764887600502049796702.jpg

I've been using MegaCrop for the past month on my outdoor veggies. I can't get it to completely dissolve either. I've been using a rounded Tbsp in a 5 gal bucket. After stirring, waiting, and more stirring, there's always some muck on the bottom. I've also tried mixing in a 1/2 gal pitcher of hot water. It speeds things up a bit, but the same end result. I'm not sure I'd use it in a reservoir. It's more than a trivial amount left undissolved.

For curiosity's sake, I put a small pump in to stir it overnight, but it didn't help it dissolve any further.

Also tried RO water instead of my tap; no difference.

I'm also curious what the muck on the bottom of the bucket is. Fillers? Binders? Precipitated salts?

Otherwise it seems to work as expected, the plants seem happy.

I always bubble mine..I use tap water and to get rid of chlorine...also add vit c to get of chloramines ...I feed a target range of 650ppm of megacrop not counting my tap ppm of 220...so my target range is 870ppm and they love it...It takes 25g of 1part mc and 5g of bud explosion to hit 900ppm....and it works great....I get nice big green plants the biggest I've grown..and I've tryd it all...besides hydro..my next is tray and drip system....I'll be running 25 one gal pots in a 5x5 with a drip system...it cost around 400$ at my local hydroponic store....then feeding will be easy...I've done sip buckets..I don't care to much about...I've used all types of nutrients and soils it's crazy...but megacrop is the best I've came across...only in coco...in my experience....

Ya I wonder that too. Mine gets flecks of something on the bottom and I can never mix it fully in. It's too bad because it works really well
