Meet Victoria.......

Hi All...I would like everyone to meet Victoria. She has come a long way in the past month or so. The story is kinda funny. She started off O.K., but I was concerned she might have problems cause her stem was really red. As she got bigger the stem continued to be red & she just didn't look happy. I then started giving her some nutrients & & squeezed the stem to try to get it to thicken up. This really worked well & now she is about a foot tall with a nice thick stem. The bottom part of the stem is still red, but she looks much happier these days. I also thought for sure at first that the plant was going to be a male, but turned out I was wrong. This plant has given me some pleasant surprises so far.

Anyone have any advice on this lady?

maybe closer light so it doesnt stretch so much, otherwise it looks like it's a-going.

O.K. thanx...will do. I'm also putting a 400W HPS in today. How far from the top should it be?

If your hand can handle the heat than she can also. I keep my 150w HPS within 6 inches, but you may want to be 9-12in away. The HPS will do wonders once you have her in flowering.

Thanx for that pointer & I can't wait to see the results from HPS. She actually just got put on a flowering schedule this week.
