Hi Im a 22 year old male and about 2 years ago I got hurt at work while lifting something heavy and my shoulder dislocated of its socket and my arm was basically hanging from my side. I went through Worker's Compensation And Had A Claim Number and everything And Was put on light Duties at the time. I went to physiotherapy for 3-4 months and after that I noticed that physio was a waste of time and was not helping me and I sucked up the pain and now its jsut getting annoying everytime I use my arm for extended periods of time and me being in the construction industry is ALL the time when I get home im in loads of pain and ive taken advils, tylenol #3, Some oxy's(From a Buddy) and the oxys ****ed my stomache up yea i felt no pain but i also felt like i jsut drank 2 bottles of vodka... Ive smoked MJ for 3 years now and when ever I have a headache Or my Shoulder is killin me (Even on Damp days outside the weather makes my arm KILL) My back Constantly is cracking I guess from Work and all the Lifting and bending Ido all day But after i smoke my joint when i get home its the only thing that makes me feel that the pain isnt there and makes me sleep like a baby... So from this if I were to gointo a doctors office one who deals with Medical MJ.. Hes gunna look at me like im some punk that wants to get high because of my age... Like I dont know how to approach a doctor being the age that i am and telling him its the only thing that ive tried that works You know wat i mean... please give me some suggestions on how abouts I can Go and get the process started.. Thank You so Much for your time...

BTW IM IN TORONTO CANADA!!

My doctor didn't give any negative vibes. He pretty much welcomed me to his office, asked me to sit, and then said, "What can I do for you. What made you come today." I was nervous, but I told him that my hand stings when I grip and now I'm getting back and neck pain. I did my best to only tell him the facts and let him ask all the follow up questions he needed. He asked where I was working, how many hours I spend on the computer, and made me do a few hand exercises.

He requested that i see a physical therapist as soon as possible, gave me a three month recommendation, and then made an appointment for me to come back for a second review.

All in all, I felt he was trying to help me, not

The frist question I have is, can a doctor in Canada legally pescribe marijuana? Because in the states, they can't. In med marijuana states, they even have to write a "recommendation" not a prescription, because it's still classified as a Schedule 1 drug.
If they can prescribe it, you just have to find one who will do it for you and that's it.

Yea I guess your right... Im still reading up on alot of the things that people have posted all over the internet.... I dont like going to ask a profesional something when i dont know what im talking about... If he asks me a question about something I want to be able to give him a good answer. Do you guys know of any good Medical Marijuana websites that have doctors in toronto canada that deal with cases like this?
