Hey Guys,

I'm part of National Access Cannabis, Ottawa branch. I believe we could help out some people visiting this website, with the Medical Cannabis services we provide
! Our goal is to help people who need access to Medical Cannabis, gain access as quickly and easily as possible. We achieve this through being a Health Center that can handle, or request from your doctor, your health history. We then create a 'case' with our medical staff, that we present to one of our tele-medicine doctors with you.

Further to this, we aid those that gain their medical declaration. We help clients in choosing an appropriate Licensed Producer, appropriate strain selection for alignment, recommendations in delivery method, & screen for drug interactions to state a few. Overall, we are an information & resource center to help anyone in need navigate the messy Medical Cannabis system.

We have had a high success rate with ailments like PTSD, Multiple Sclerosis, Fibromyalgia, Crohn's, Cancer's, etc. We are also competitively priced, at $250 + tax ($150 for Doctor Fee; $100 for Membership fee), and follow up appointments are covered by OHIP.

Please contact our store for further information, as our ability to monitor posts will be limited. Hope we can help out!

- Matt

Most here are against the LP idea, and are fighting for our right to grow our own medicine. What is your organizations position on this idea?
I did not pay for my MMAR papers to be filled out, my doctor provided them free of charge.
As it should be.
Like a prescription for needed medication.

Didn't HC or the college or someone make some kind of big deal about the Skype/phone appointment and with them not being your regular doctor.
Do they get written up and performance reviewed for writing too many mmpr chits? I recall reading something to that effect also.
Please correct me if I am mistaken or ill-informed.
Thank you

I paid for my first doctors note. Now I won't bother renewing it I'm still with the same Family doctor who signs a statement of diagnosis for free. $250 is $50 less sleezy then the local hack who signs medical documents. So yeah. The college of physicians have already said its aginst the rules to charge patients for doctors to sign medical marijuana documents so what's your angle for getting around that decree? We'd love to know.

""We don't want people to go to the street. We want them to get the medicine from a legal source supply"-.......who cares if it's quality or actual medicine! we will hook you up with a LP who will charge you through the nose so you can't afford food and we will guarantee free mold AND/OR mold at no charge. if it glows in the dark due to cold pasteurization, that's a bonus-think of the cost savings on electricity.
I guess this is a way they get around advertising!

I thought the Ontario College of Physicians and Surgeons said doctors weren't allowed to charge.

http://policyconsult.cpso.on.ca

  • The College considers the medical document authorizing patient access to dried marijuana to be equivalent to a prescription.
  • As prescriptions, together with the activities associated with prescriptions, are insured services, physicians must not charge patients a fee.

The problem NOW is the doctors are scared of Satan Harptlers goon squad and their own useless colleges......None of em got any balls to do the right thing...unless of course it pays well.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, though I suggest anyone come spend 10 minutes in our friendly store and you'll realize we are not greedy, money grabbing people. We have helped a wealth of people get their MMPR, and access to high quality product, where they were completely unable to before. Anyone who walks a day in our shoes and sees the positive effects we have on people, I'm sure would change their tune.

As for Licensed Producers, the three main pillars they must meet are; Ability to deliver High Quality & consistent product, They must pass out Production Methods Quality Control, and They must pass further visits for quality control & production. This is further to the strict guidelines that Health Canada has set out.

We help people gain access to High Quality flower as low as $5/gram, and access to compassion pricing which can reduce the price by 25%. In fact, many of our clients are getting better quality & better pricing than they were previously. If you happen to be getting better pricing for top grade flower, I would have to say you're a small demographic.

Our staff members could talk for hours on the advice & expertise we can provide. The post was purposely kept small to try and avoid it feeling long winded. Our hope was that anyone truly keen in wanting more information, would call or come in, so that we can have appropriate dialogue.

Please remember that we are kind hearted people who are just trying to help with the current system that is in place. We didn't create the rules, we are working within the rules placed upon us.

No you're not...you are charging people...you are trying to profit off the sick like all the other dirtbags waiting in line...you didn't answer any questions put to you why? We know all about the system here...we live it every fucking day....and we are the group of compassionate understanding people who know exactly what the score is...so which LPs does your outfit support?
