med card for lower back pain?

I have had lower back pain for a while now and I finally decided to try and get my card however I haven't been to the docs in over 5 years and I need to get some medical records before a clinic will recomend me. I have shitty insurance with a crazy high decductible through work so I was thinking of going to a chiropractor instead of a typical doctor because I heard they are cheaper my question is are chiros real doctors and will they provide the medical records I need?

Ps if you have a recomendation for a good one in se mi please let me know

I had no doc's explained my two lumbar injuries & my insomnia. Told them I ate for the pain and smoked to sleep. Got the extended plant count.
My brother had a military dossier but only got a straight six.
I'm sure it's a crap shoot in each state.

Not in Michigan, legitimate doctors need records.

The law requires that only MDs and DOs sign for you . You may have to bite the bullet and spend some time and money to get qualified.

I went to a chiropractor for my medical records, my local doc. doesn't seem too hip so I left him out of the picture...I know should find another doc. but known the guy for over 20 years and the few times I have been ill with flu, cough, etc hes came through for me and got me the meds I needed. So I found a different doc. for my MM card and went to a chiropractor for medical records. A few X rays and explaining my problems was all it took.

Sure beats popping pain pills, I wanted nothing to do with pills, my MM doc isn't no pill freak either, noticed last time I signed a form promising that I would not take opioids, thats funny, they would have to force me to take that junk. Stay away from that stuff, its no good, MM is the safer drug

Chiropractors are not qualified under the law to write certifications. Skylor is right that the recommending MD or DO can use chiropractic notes to establish a history of injury or disease.
