I’ve been using the new two part not having bad results trying to just find out how much I can feed been around 900-1000. Just saying Mc is just jacks imho

Haven't tried Jacks. I was just about to switch to Jacks but after a little more thought I stayed with MB. They are pretty similar and again, my plants have never been better then the schedule I run now.

Not a fan of MC. If a company is constantly changing their formulas and the way they do business, I stay away. They used to be a good company (greenleaf) with some great additives with an honest business model. Not sure what happened.

Honestly the reason I chose MC over Jacks is cause its a legit 1 part. I went from clone to harvest with its last formula and it was fantastic. No deficiencies. 1 nute and donezo. It was just muddy in my rez. But theyve fixed that with this new version.

My thinking a few months ago was just it should give similar results.... one is one and done and the other is 3x the work.

Also the MC one part has some silica and aminos. Win Win.

I will give masterblend a shot down the line though.

Ya exactly the same except some extras silica and aminos.

I recently just ditched MCs recommended ratios and this past week I started following Jacks 3.6g- 2.4g doseage recommendation minus the epsom salt. Since theyre the exact same ingredients...might as well.

Lets see what happens

I use this for veg with success, in coco.
Also note Im using a slighly different calnit.
17-0-0. Use 2.2 if 15-0-0 calnit.

Shame. Such a miniscule amount of Silica in MC 1 or 2 part. Requires 4+ grams per gallon to obtain one (1) PPM of silica in solition. So break out the Armor Si.

The aminos are a nice touch I guess.

Dang really its that low?

I thought all this time it was a good amt of silica because my stalks are pretty damn thick and the leaves do seem kind of rough.

Yeah, not a deal breaker just the fact.
Use their calculator, the PPM tab. You can see the silica ppm.

Here....3grams of PartA.

You use Jacks? What made you choose what you do over the others?

The 3 similar ones that I know of are Jacks, Masterblend, and MC right? When I was choosing from one of them to buy a few months ago for my harvest. My logic was Ill go with MC just because it has what the other ones do and some extras.

I have used GH and Mega Crop in past years.

Jacks because it's available local and cheap, with no shipping costs.
If not for that, I would be running the MC 2Part.
If not a powder, I would be running GH 3-part.
MegaCrop 1part is fine for veg.
Masterblend is good stuff - possibly a touch high in K for my coco.

MC2Part. (Epsom to get the Mg ppm, near 1/2 Ca ppm.)

um maybe they are 2 different companies, different products, different specs, not trying to be an arse about it but its not comparing apples for apples ( MC vrs Jacks), never used Jacks only used MC V1 don't think I will every use the brand again ( to many issues getting it)..

I also had a question about Silica...im not sure if you know the answer to it or not.

But...they always say to put Silica first right? After adding my nutrients the pH gets too low sometimes in my rez. So instead of using pH up.....I use Silica to bring it back up to an acceptable range.

Does it actually matter if you put it in first or last? As long as the nutrient MC or Dynagro or whatever is fully dissolved in the water... why would it matter if you put in Silica first or last?

Ive been doing this for the last few months but Im not sure if its correct or not.

Yes. I first add si to RO water, then complete the mix.

After that it's PH up.
Two reasons.
1. I do not want K increasing for my coco.
2. Possible precip/chemical reaction.
