At what strength are you feeding them & do yku add cal/mg as well? Lastyear during bloom i ran into a problem with my pistials coming out brown and it never recovered. I wasn't sure if it was cal\mg or just to much maxsea.
I never add Cal mag, although I should.
1 TBLS per gallon, 5 gallons per feeding at first, 7.5 gallons my last 2 feedings, but these are very large plants, so be careful. My first feeding was June 18th, waited 12 days until next feeding. Then waited 10 days until the next feeding. I'm now feeding every week.
Good luck,
TMB-

Same thing happen to me I'm using maxsea grow and it was really healthy at the beginning but I got nute lock or magnesium lock and then my pistils was turning brown and I was using calmag+ nothing happen and my nephew came over and he saw it and said his was like that but he was using a different nutes but none the less his plant's didn't grow so he use calimagic and hygrozyme and that fixed his problem so the next day I went to my local hydro store and bought a microscope and calimagic I already have hygrozyme and when we check the leaves there's a lot bugs so I sprayed them and feed hygrozyme and calimagic and bam next 2 days my plants recovered and now it's flowering with clean white pistils. Check if you have bugs cause russet mites will do that to your plants it'll suck the hell outta your plants and get some calimagic it helps with pistil rot. I read a review at amazon and one of the review said (Every tomato that was growing was getting blossom end rot. Luckily I knew how to treat it, and got it on time thanks to this. A must have for a hydroponic grower) I'm not growing hydroponic I'm growing in soil outdoor. I just pick up a gallon of CaliMagic and 20lbs bucket Maxsea Bloom. Good luck Charles lewis

..last year was bad i didn't know what fo do untill mid October. Now i tried maxsea again and did a test to c what was goin on. The shit is really good to grow with but you must supply all of the secondary nutes. Some i used cal/mg and some dolomite lime and on my fresh smart pots nothing at all. The ones what were in new soil was ok. No problems at all (With just maxsea). 1`s with cal/mg are ok to. Dolomite works well also but it seems like i have to apply it once a week for the ladies to stay ok.

But yea maxsea is great just gotta go with something to supplement for the nutes that it doesn't have! Or you gonna end up with nothing. I dont or didn't have a bug problem. It was/is just mg issue.

I didn't run into a problem until my second year. I use 50/50 soil mix outdoors so i dont change it. Now that i know how to use maxsea i know what to do with the soil.

What did you add to the soil to be able to use Maxsea with better results?
My soil is a 50\50. Compost mix so if its the first year the dont need much more the the usual. But its the second year that you will have to add to it. Maxsea isn't organic so it will.give them a big boost of what it has. Which means they are getting a big drop of what they don't have and thats cal\mg. So whatever your choice is for that is what you need to add. For me during veg dolomite lime is great and cheap. But during flower i will use a liquid cal\mg because of they need so much more of it. I still use dolomite cause it evens out the ph as well. I dont ph much cause my state has great water.

I just feed my plants for the first time using Maxsea bloom at 50 tbs with 75tbs of molasses and 75 tsp of CaliMagic for 100 gallons of water and it came to almost 1200PPM. Isn't this too high for the first week of flowering?

I was wondering today what a 5 gal bucket @ 1tbs per gal PPM's at. Gonna check next time.

I think the Molasses throws the pen off too and what PPM is your water to start with.

All so most water has plenty of Calcium in it. It's the Mag that they need so save some money and just use Epsom salt or and to your soil.

I don't have early bloom boosters so I might try beastie bloomz with maxsea I've used beastie bloomz in the past with fox fox nutes. Right now i'm in week two of flowering so which one should I use first open sesame and then beastie bloomz? I used moab for the first week and I'm gonna use it again in the last 2 weeks of flower so I don't need cha ching.

Probably a stupid question but none of you make super soil right? You use max sea instead. Trying to simplify my plan for next year and max sea is sounding like the ticket
