Hey, so i've got myself a triploid which is about 2 weeks old its unknown strain, which grows in three sets rather than two... 3 fan leaves and 3 branches (bud sites)
It's extremely bushy for such a small plant and i can tell already that this is going to be a big yielder.

Im planning on seeding just a few small branches hoping to keep the triploid gene rather than getting 1 triploid every 100 seeds, if this triploid turns out to be a female i will do a controlled pollination with a male ak47 on a few branches and if this turns out to be a male i will pollinate a female ak47 with the male triploid, hopefully they produce triploid seeds im not sure if its gonna work but its worth a try im not going to pollinate the whole plant just a few branches the rest can be sticky icky bud ;)

post some comments and subscribe, i'll be updating frequently + rep for anyone with helpful information

Hey MasterHemp,

As you can see, a newbie as far as posting - hope you don’t mind. Susc'd. I’m very interested in seeing how you make out with this one. I had one of that type in my first grow (Bagseed Babies - to get the basics down) that ended up being male, so of course it had to be executed. Ended up with 1female out of 6 seedlings that took so long to really show any growth I named her ‘Pokey’ but she finally ended up giving me 9.27 gr dry weight after 9 weeks.

I am getting ready to start my 2nd MMJ grow and have been thinking about AK-47 fem’s this time, but that‘s still a few weeks off. Plenty of time to continue checking strain reviews, etc. before I do though.

Looking forward to seeing how it grows and learning more.

just a little update, this plant was being kept alive with just a single 23watt cfl due to my other lights being used up by the flowering plants, i love how bushy it is staying this one will definitely be the big yielder, i just harvested so now i've got extra lights to put on it, so hopefully it'd take off soon!
