Master Kush Indoor Grow

LOL, you're on! I have a 6 gal. tub that I'm using for a bubbleponic system. I've decided to try for a scrog setup with this grow, as I am using cfls for veg. and flower. I figure I can get the most out of my lights with a scrog.

Just got home and found 2 of the seeds sprouted! I guess the other 2 are duds, they haven't even popped yet. I was kinda going for 2 plants anyway, just figured my chances of 2 fems were greater with 4 (FINGERS CROSSED!) I also had a quick question. This is the first time I've used rockwool, should I go ahead and put them into my system now, or just let the seedlings get a better root system in the rockwool for a while? Also, as I said before, I am using Canna Rhizotonic (first time) for strong root development. Should I use this along side my regular nutes in the system for a while? I appreciate any and all comments or suggestions, thanks in advance everyone! :-D

Just put the babies into my new and improved system. I made my bubbleponics system out a 6 gal. roughneck tote. Inside I have 130 gal/hr pump that is sitting on top of an air ring hooked up to an air pump for a 100 gal fish tank. It oxygenates the water around the pump so it delivers oxygenated water directly into my home made net pots to the roots via 2 small feed tubes. You'll notice I have 2 air pumps, the larger one is running the air ring, while the smaller one runs 2 air stones. This will hopefully deliver enough oxygen to the roots until they reach the reservoir, at which point I will take the pump out (so as not to clog it up with the roots) and add another air ring so that each plant has a dedicated air ring underneath it. I have equiv. 350 watts of 5500K cfl and 100 watts of 2700K cfl on them for now. I was thinking adding more, but this set up worked for veg. on my last grow, so we will see. I am using General Hydroponics MaxiGrow nutes, mixed with a small amount Canna Rhizotonic for my nutrient solution. Thats about it for my setup, I'll post more as things advance.

My nutes I ordered off a website a while back. I went with powder cause I didn't want to have to pay shipping costs for liquid. Growing medium is rocks and the "mushy stuff" is just the top of the rockwool cube. Monitoring process? Sorry I'm not sure what your asking. :dunce: Maybe I'm still to new to this.

Thanks cartman, I'll try to post as often as I can. This will probably be my last post for a couple of days though, going out of town. They seem to be developing quite nicely, they are pushing out the second set of leaves already. It looks like this system is gonna work out pretty well. I'll post some updated pics when I return. You guys burn one for me, gotta go dry on this trip.

I was bored toady, so I started making a new light fixture for my flowering stage. I made it out of cardboard (not the sturdiest material, but I'm on a tight budget) and covered the reflector side with mylar. I still need to add some more bulbs and wire everything together but the reflector is done. You will see in the picture there are (2) 62 watt 2700K bulbs and (2) 42 watt 2700K on a splitter. I am going to put another splitter with (2) 42 watt 2700K on it at the red arrow, and another 62 watt 2700K at the black arrow. That will give me a grand total of 23400 lumen out of 354 watts of cfls. I know, a 400 watt hps bulb would get me about double that, but I can't really afford a bulb and ballast. So for now cfls it is! Let me know what you guys think..

Question (we'll see if this gets answered) Is the planned 23400 lumens enough for a 2ftx3ft screen? I know I am right at the limit, but I'm not sure if this will get me some decently dense bud. An answer would be nice. Thanks.

It's been 11 days from my last pictures of the plants and since then I have put them under the screen and they have exploded. Looking pretty good, except there is some yellowing in the tops, not sure whats causing it. I did change out my solution and up the nutes yesterday, plus I took out the feeding tubes and pump. The roots are now submerged in the solution with air stones at the bottom. I guess all these changes probably had allot to do with it. Anyway here are some pics of my developing canopy.
P.S. when should I start taming all those huge fan leaves?

look good, way to grow man! you can tame them whenever you wanna, just bend em out of the way! your plants are healthy and can take some bending without being too stressed. dig?

Thanks chron. As far as the lower fan leaves, when should I trim them off to focus growth on the canopy?
