Master blend nutrient 4-18-38

Anyone have any experience using masterblend's 4-18-38 mixed with calcium nitrate 15.5-0-0 and magnesium sulfate in hydroponics? I always like to run my nutes on the low side. When I was using GH's three part on my last grow I was running around 700 to 800 ppm's in both veg and flower and the plants seemed to be happy. But now switching to the masterblend my plants in veg seem to be good around 300 ppm's. I'm actually afraid to go much higher as the plants are already showing nice dark green leaves.
Thank's for any info?

I'm also switching to masterblend this year, from GH Flora 3 part.

I tried GH Flora, Cocos AB, Nectar, and Megacrop and out of those I prefer GH and Megacrop (not together).

So this year I'm ditching all the bottles and going to all dry hydro ferts. I have Masterblend, GH Maxibloom, and Megacrop, along with calnit, Epsom, soluble fish and kelp, soluble fulvic, and Pekacid. I have some RAW Yucca and Aminos but I don't imagine I'll need those, along with Greenleaf Sweet Candy, their bud booster, and their enzyme. Only reason I get all that stuff is I know I'll put it all to use eventually, I don't mind buying it up front. I prefer to buy nutes like once a year or so.

Anyway, I'm in the process of using up my GH flora Trio, and the last of my H&G. After that I'll switch over to completely dry with the Masterblend, and try the Maxibloom on some Mephisto autos. That's the ticket, I think.

I don't have any advice but I'm very interested in people's opinions, so following!

They might be might be happy, but not optimum.
I run my seedling's at 700 ppm, at 2 weeks their at 1000, at 4 their at 1200 and I finish at 1550 ppm.
99% of my plants will zoom at those numbers, although a few might get some yellow tips, but not a big deal
I've growing for years with those numbers, and really no issues.
These are a few plants at 4 weeks with 1200 ppm.4 weeks.jpg

Wow they look great! I've noticed in the past that different strains react differently to nutrient strengths. What are you using for nutrients, if you don't mind me asking?

I run MB in week 2 of and till the end of flowering at 10g per 5 gallon in hydro.
MS @ 10g per 5 gallon
CN @ 2g per 5
Flower fuel, full dose on bottle
Cal-Mag at 12 ml per 15 gallons

I have LSD and I'll be running it in '20. I'm liking the masterblend so far. Plants coming along nice. Running a c99 cross right now.

I use something similar. VitaGrow. The micronutrient blend/Part A is 3-10-20. I add calcium nitrate/Part B for veg and when I switch to flower I add some MKP/Part C.

The formula is pretty similar to Masterblend. Not exact but close. If your plants in veg are happy the way you're feeding them then keep doing what you're doing. I run between 400 - 500 in veg and go up to 800 in flower. I'm growing in coco and the plants don't need and can't really use any more than what I'm feeding them. I know people go higher but when I see pics many times the leaves are all crispy, burnt up, covered in spots, etc... That's not from deficiencies but from overfeeding.

I use Masterblend, Calnit and mag. Like some of you, I was getting sick of all the bottles and added crap that did nothing but cost me money.
I use the 2.4grams MB, 2.4grams calnit and 1.2grams mag /per gallon.
In flower I add more mag and leave everything else the same. Plus I add a pk boost.

All my plants get this feed. From seedling to harvest. Its a little hot for seedlings but they power through it fine.
