Massive discoloration on fan leaves

So I'm the idiot who dropped a raspberry cough in with his five WWs.

We're on day 45 of flower, and my RC leaves are doing this crap (pic below)

The leaves affected are the fans that are being shed during flower with some slight discoloration in other spots, but holy hell am I scared. Water temp is 71F, no signs of root rot (I add beneficial bacteria), and the air temp is around 75f. Also going to say that the WW are looking great, if not just a little hungry.

I took about 7 years off from growing, and I've never seen this before. All help is appreciated!

Hard to tell with that pic what colors are on the leaf ....you have a leaf you can take a pic of in normal light .....even so looks strange

The only thing that comes to mind was the one time I grew bagseed during the winter. Temps got low at night and she started turning purple (defense mechanism I guess). I have a window ac up there set to 70f ... Maybe it's getting too cold at night? The RC is from nirvana if that helps.

Also got a new pic after I plucked one of the weird ones

Yeah I'd say your temps are getting to low ...that's a lot ....there's deficiencies that will cause purple but IMO that looks like a temp issue

I thought that was the case, but man was I scared this far into flower. My state has been getting really crazy temp swings - 95+ during the day, and mid sixties at night. I'll turn the ac off at night, hopefully that helps!

I didn't notice any issue with the last one that went purple on me, but should I be worried?

I mean some people do that on purpose to get that purple color to come through ...of course yours is very purple ....if the plants look healthy otherwise just do like you said and keep the night temps up and you should be ok

Many thanks! Over my years off I've forgotten a lot, and seeing a lot of new growers struggle with hydro grows I automatically assumed the worst. Under hps lighting the purple can look an awful lot like signs of root rot as well
