i currently have a nice outdoor hyrdo setup goin out side and the two beautiful ladsy are nearing 5-6 feet tall,

in my area the daylight hours are just a few weeks away from being 12/12 so my plan is to take as many clones as i can of these ladys without damaging its yield to much, get them rooting in an indoor cfl clone box and get them rooting and then move them outdoors when in gets to 12/12.

i may even grow some clones up to be mothers and clone them and try to squeeze the biggest possible harvest out of my natural season. (i plan to move indoors in winter:twisted:)

im thinking of a MASS OUTDOOR SoG GROW
whats your thoughts?

questions...
-do outdoor plants start flower mode smack bang on 12 hours daylight 12 dark, or does the process start earlier for some reason?
-will i have enough time to fully bud if i move some clones outdoors when daylight is less than night (eg. 11/13), how does this work?
-would 3 weeks or less be enough to sprout a seed and veg before moving outdoor to flower naturally?

i have an ideal large area to do this grow and want to get the maximum harvest before i have to start paying money to light my plants in winter

excuse the long post
thanks guys! :joint:

try to grow what ever you can, keep in pots or what ever you hydro's use.
if your clones dont finish flowering outdoors, finish them indoors.

i thought that seeing i am goin to use very small, very short time vegged clones, and put them into flower almost immedietly after rooting (even though using natural sunlight), that this would classify it as a outdoor SoG...?

this will be in a separate location to my outdoor hydros and will be in soil due to no access to power...

i suppose it dosent really matter wat its called but the purpose is to get the biggest yeild i can out of the natural growing season this year

sorry didnt mean to confuse everyone with my big plants and them being part of the SOG, these are wat im cloning from

ill put a new thread up tomorow to show where im at

peace

I just put 5 cuts that had rooted outside in 20 oz beverage bottles ala DrBudz style. Curious to see whatll happen, not sure how the light cycle works down here (Caribbean) for flowering, but i have one lady thats been out there budding for 4 weeks.

The cuts were under 24 hour lights while rooting, and now the days are just about 12 hours long and still getting longer. curious to see if the plants will have a chance to finish flowering or if the light will gradually change and send them vegging before they finish.

I was going to build a SOG cabinet but I cant ignore the perfect conditions I have in my very secluded yard, with 8 hours of direct tropical sun. I still went with multiple plantlets in 20 oz pots because I flowered from clone with 0 veg time and I think theyll be less conspicuous than a full sized tree from the air (helicopter).

Any thoughts?
