I have small Mason jars for curring and a few small plants. Does jar size matter, and how long do you leave it?

Jar size shouldnt matter aslong as theyre not overfilled, humidity packs can help aswell. I use 500ml jars up to 1 gal jars.

I know a lot use the 32oz jars - I'm going to get some before the next harvest.

I used 16oz jars. They worked fine, but only hold about .5 oz each.
That made burping take 2x as long, but my product came out great.

I use a big oven roasting turkey bag for burping and curing, then after a couple weeks break it out into jars.

Grab the wide mouth jars if you can. Easier to extract the herb
Good luck! Last time I was at the store they weren't available and the small mouth quarts were almost $20 a case. Last time I bought some they were on sale for $12 Guess ball knows that people be growing lots of herb this pandemic. :weed:

Ouch! I stay away from the Ball brand. Wide mouth quarts at Walmart can be had for $12 a case or less (it's the Walmart brand but they work fine)
