Maso Jar for foot long cola?

OK, this is probably a good problem to have. Thinking my main cola is going to come in at 1 foot. Assuming I want to keep this baby in one piece, where are the 1 foot high mason jars? I'm guessing others have had this situation. Just looking for the cheapest 1 foot tall glass container you might have stumbled across.

Do you plan on wrapping the whole thing in one, massive blunt? I always cut up my colas into smaller pieces before jarring. I just have something against sticks in my weed.

One gallon pickle jars?

Walmart has 2 1/2 gallon ziplock bags that would work if you can't find a big jar.

mostly just thinking(for no clear reason) that curing the bud in 'its natural form', was a better cure

ok well its not a mason jar but if you go to a kitchen place or bed bath and beond or some shit you can buy a very tall noodle holder they have fancy ones that are clear with flip tops and just plastic non-see through with just have snap on lids so hope this helps. they are ment for holding noodles

You could use aluminum foil. Just fold over the edges and crease it a few times. Pretty easily makes it air, water, and light tight.

All the 'big time' drug traffickers wrap all their shit in foil. Same reason a lot of food products get stored in aluminized wrappers. Makes whatever is inside last a VERY long time.

just got a thing about glass, just seems right - but foil is a good backup plan

Foil has all the desired properties that glass has for curing/storage. It's not porous, it's air-tight, moisture-tight. And better than glass... it's light-tight, adjustable to any size, and it's not fragile.

I reuse glass jars myself. Jam, salsa, olives, relish, anything that comes in glass wide-mouth jars, even pickles(hard to get rid of the vinegar smell, though). Put them through the dishwasher, hand wash the lids(dishwasher's heat and detergents can ruin the seal). Very cheap, very effective, as I then have all sorts of sizes. You want as little air in the jar as possible when it's sealed, of course.

Im just curious why you want to keep it as one instead of choppin it up? It will dry and cure better if it was chopped up into smaller buds.

wow! thanks for all the info - knew this issue had to come up before - try to address all suggestions and the trick i've come up with

main cola will probably come closer to 8 inches - it was shooting up on me for a while and was making me a bit nervous in a good way - big but not unheard of
greenthumb - i thought there were bigger jars out there - that's exactly what i'll do if i ever get the BIG cola

the reason for keeping in one cola is for a slower cure - not sure if it's the right thing to do - maybe not - any experts on curing feel free to chime in

teatree gave me this idea - i'll stick with a regular jar - for a lid i'll use aluminum foil - seal to the jar with scotch tape - i should be able to effectively make a lid of the size i want - foil + tape should give me a airtight seal

i'll put the pic right up - not spectacular but not bad for a total of 78w - this was a real micro gro

ok, this is a nl#5 - maybe 7 days from harvest when this pic was taken - total of 78w of cfl(3 26w)
the 1st gap you see from the top of the bud down starts at about 7-8 inches - i thought that bud node and the one below it were going to fuse into 1 big cola - don't look like it'll get there - the breeder has a grow site showing this strain with colas that stretch at least a foot(i think) - i will put some object up for scale for the next pic
