MarsHydro Reflector or MarsII 700?

Yes, I know these lights aren't the best nor are they the worst. I had planned on just going with a HPS (can't afford the nicer COB LEDs), but a friend of mine has a couple he's looking to sell. They have gone through 2 harvests. Given the price point he's offering me, they're a good enough deal for a newb like me to at least get my feet wet with LEDs until I can afford something nicer.

He has the MarsII 700W and Mars Reflector 192. He's giving me first dibs before he sells the other one to his brother. Between the two, which would you recommend?

My grow space is a 3' x 3' tent and I plan on either doing a SOG or SCROG. Thanks!

I would say the 192 ... It has switchable modes and higher wattage leds.

I run 2 900s and get great bud - I grow Double tents and am happy with them.

There be those throwing shade on these but it will very nice buds for those of use with limited spaces.

I am going to go the COB light route soon
But in the mean time i am happy with these panels. I also run G8 Bloom Booster ( deep red ) UFO.



Recommended height is 18" - 24"

Very cool! I appreciate the feedback. I figure we all have to start somewhere. I'm just trying to get the best setup I can without putting myself in the poor house. Researching these lights has been a PITA just because so many throw shade so it makes it hard to find good empirical evidence one way or another.
