Mars reflector 48x3w conversion - COB help?

Hello, having seen various threads on here about conversions of old leds into Cobs, i want to do the above light.

Would appreciate some guidance as to recomend cobs please as i'm having a job getting my head round models, performance, hanging distance of different cobs and the concept of 'how hard they are driven' when selecting the most appopiate cob. Starting to fry my brain like its sat under some massive cob!

I dont want to spend big bucks, as this is a supplemntary light and a bit of a tester. I already have a main LED pannel. I will be ordering from EU.

The Mars reflector has 2 Power supplies in it. 1 with fan on it. From what i've read it sounds like i can run two cobs off one driver and one off the one with the fan?

I'm lost as to what cobs to get. Seems Citizen offer must bang for buck? I've got a piece of Aluminum sorted, so think this is all i need bar some connectos?

I'm not that bothered about getting 10% more performace if it costs 40% more if you get me. The light will be used mostly in flower. It will be angled about 30 degress if that makes a difference? Ideally i'd like to be able to keep it within 12 inches of the tops?

I've taken a couple of pics of the two drivers. Bit hard to read but i think one says up to 100V out and the other 80V.

thanks guys for any pointers. 8)

Thanks @CobKits , is that 2 per driver then? Looking on your site for the cobs and looks like the 90cri 3500 G6 are the ones to go for would you take these over the 3000's?

I think I saw you ship to EU in another thread? If so I'll send you an order :)

Or 2 Vero29gen7, "C" version(68v) to make it even simpler to wire.
A bit more expensive(10$+) and with less power draw but more durable.
If both drivers are in the same constant current region(here maybe 600mA, because of the 3w diodes used) you should get the same output from each COB.
~ 40w per COB, with really good effiency, 90-100w total... maybe 70$ shipped.
And both drivers have a little voltage headroom which is a bit safer with this typ of drivers also..
Recommend to use 3000k only for flowering..
