Holy shit did it grow that much over night or did you lower the net... ?

I think using both LED and HID is going to bring out the max in that plant should be awesome to see

I've been watching too need to get a hydro tent going myself great set up @PatchKid nice looking screen how long you been using them leds.
for the better part of a year now, they work great and I just added in the HPS for that extra boost in flowering. About 200 bucks for each LED.

Im headed to the bulb store now and gonna pick up a 400 watt ceramic metal halide bulb. I heard they work in normal HPS ballasts and I also heard they run cooler and can produce bigger buds. Its 30 bucks for one of them where I am going so if it doesn't work then I didn't really take too much of a loss

Nice man, I have a 12 cree cxa build in progress. Got real spendy real fast can't wait to have some pics up after its running. I will definitely have to find some awesome strain to put them to the test this spring.
I have no clue what to order.... I'll have some blue dream after my next vacation.

Hey Patch glad to see you up n going with another grow. Subbed for sure. Hey how did your last grow turn out with the auto? What was your yield? Do u still give the Mars a good grade? I just moved from Texas back to Ohio and only brought my solar storm with me. No other equipment. So I'm thinking about adding two topled reflectors. But can't get up n going till round February. Sucks I know. What do u think? Anyway great start and kick some ass again on this grow.

Thanks broski I ended up with about 2.5 oz with that auto in about 70 days it was not bad for the time lol and especially that setback I had with rot that took about 1 week or so of my veg life from that auto. I would recommend the Mars all day. The reflectors run a bit more costly so I can't imagine that they would be anything other than better quality. I say go for it feb will be here before you know it

Ive had some minor setbacks in the past few days I began to see early signs of rot my roots were staining a little brown, my res temps were higher than id like, my leaves were getting the rams horn and not eating any nutrients at all.... got some wilting etc..

So i ditched the HPS for now, added a commercial air pump with a couple of stones, built a homemade chiller and my temps are staying around 62 degrees in the res. Hopefully this will get rid of my pithier outbreak and help a lot. I don't see why it wouldn't thats a hell of a lot of oxygen in there now. I also ordered some dutch master gold zone

the chiller basically just runs my line through some copper tubing thats submerged in ice cold water!
