A QB kit wiring is easy as well, its really really basic plug and play kinda stuff. I've purchased plenty of similar fixtures to the one you referenced, but I would honestly look for something without a fan for LED passive cooling is great, fans just add to the wattage draw if you ask me.

So, you can come to this thread and bash me for showing an affordable LED that WILL work just fine, but don't have any suggestions towards the OP about upgrading? Pretty sure Mars is made in China as well. I was just saying how good his plants were looking under the Mars, which I KNOW isn't top of the line. Neither one of these LEDs are top of the line, but will give good results when given an actual opportunity to. 5 years ago, these LEDs would be considered a revolution, cost so much more than they do now. Forget I mentioned anything about this shitty light until I have a grow going with results of performance.
All i can say is if you like The Very Best Burple Fixtures Available on today's mkt according to the site.

Idk, it changes everyday to cover its ass.
But, yeah. I got x6, new model XB-140'S, x3 Broken Alphas & x4 new , 84X Penetrators for a Cool G Note yo.
140's run around 230w each & 84x run 160w each so you'd get 2020 Watts of Brand New (84x used once) HydroGrow LED. You can have the Alphas n rewire.
Under .50$ a Watt. Dude, read the claims & Warranty info. If you like Burples these are one of the Originators. Holla!

if you dont mind spending a little extra I would do some research on what best https://horticulturelightinggroup.com/collections/kits fixture from here works.

If you dont feel like you can watch a video on how to strip a few wires and screw a couple screws in you'll have no problem setting one up. Theres a video on there on how to set them up. What size grow chamber?

If you need it to have government ratings on it you have to buy a whole fixture which costs a lot more
If you really wanna save some money you can look into passive cooling with no heatsync. I got the heatsync because I like the idea of having less stuff hanging in my chamber

If you wanna go the QB by HLG route, I'd send that mars right back to where u got it

I'd start the research here for the cheapest route. https://horticulturelightinggroup.com/collections/quantum-boards/products/qb120-quantum-board

i'd start with a vapor barrier. Thick plastic can work but some people would use a product called dry-lok
it looks like that wall might be white dry-lok in decent shape. that shit seems expensive, but if having any foundation water leakage issues it may help alot with any further issues

the floor joists look like they're in good shape!

don't pull the trigger on the led's until you do you're research and figure out whats best for you. you could save alot of money once you realize where you need to spend it for now and wait a few years to add in other things. I always try to go big but to go for quality is a thing for me tooo cause i dont wanna just buy a new thing in a few years if it's something i'm going to keep doing for a long time.

It doesn't leak!!! At least it hasn't yet... I just haven't gotten around to wiping the walls down yet... The dry-lok is next on the list!!! It's all about to come together!!!
