Market vs Dispensary vs Club (Please, not a #$@%you fest)

So I notice a lot of you are bent on clubs vs dispensary or you like Markets. Thoughts, concerns. This may help someone new trying to find info. Your opinion is appreciated but please lets not turn this into a I'm right your wrong, just opinion and everyone has one so lets do our best to respect everyone's. Thanks

I personally like the dispensary for the simple fact of "I go in, give my card and driver license and I'm buying medicine"
It seems to me that clubs aren't worth it. You pay a fee to join and then you get what?
and no, I haven't been to a club or market and I'm not knocking them, my opinion is that they seem less worth it??

I believe the multiple vendors at a farmers market offer a selection and prices unobtainable to patients/caregivers from a dispensary. That said, the quality of the individual farmers market is just as important as that of a individual dispensary. Sadly I have experienced the extremes of both here in Michigan, not just place to place, but day to day as well.

Awesome, thanks Nancy & Theman13 I have yet to experience Market or Club. I would like to check out GC3 but wonder if it's worth the drive and cost.

G3C is one of the nicer markets in the state, but I have not been in the past year. They have a nice seating area with refreshments centering the new facility where you can medicate and meet/hang with friends. You can also grab a meal and/or drink next door at Jesters. Let us know when if you decide to make the trip.

As to clubs?
Alpine in the tip of the mitt has just suffered thru a fire at the club house. So watch fun some activities to raise money. Parties n such.
And Translove Energies has a regular Sunday night jam session, u never know who U'll see there.

Haven't been to a club, but between a market and a dispensary, I'll go with the market. It's soo much more fun, free and easy. To each his own.

When the laws get cleared up the farmers market model is the best for both patient,
grower and the state economy as a whole I would think.

Dispensaries earn their markup for the risk they take at the moment. I do not think they
will be deserving of 100%+ markup when they are not taking any risk.

I feel my mind has been blown...let me get this straight these "clubs" are all set up so you go in pay a fee and chill at a booth and sell your medicine? Is this totally legal..? Is there a decent amount of patients going thru this to make a 2 hr drive worth it? I personally never sold to either, always been a market guy for ten years now, but I have seen where the market is getting filled with shadier and shadier people, whom want everything cheaper, in larger quantity, and (technically) illegally (meaning a larger quantity then they can recieve here in michigan) I have had a few dispensaries really want what I had as well when I took it in for testing, but its a bit scary to sell to a store when that store is viewed highly illegal in this state...really am not looking for ANYONE to be showing up at my door..

There is no doubt our law is bad and the higher courts such as the CoA have only worked to make the absurdity worse: Allowing municipalities to ban dispensaries based on public nuisance statutes NOT the fact that they are clearly not covered under MMMA as they go on the define (ban) patient to patient relationships while intentionally not addressing caregiver to caregiver relationships. They have also unintelligibly banned extracts as they oversaw two years of proceedings of a dispensary that would finally end due to clear entrapment, yet all of their opinions still stand regardless. Dispensaries are as old as MMMA, It's a paid for game sadly placed on patients backs paying 15-20 per gram of medicine.

On the other hand farmers markets simply provide a facility for safe transfer between caregivers and patients which is the true spirit and letter of MMMA IMHO.

Regardless our Justice System relies upon filling their court rooms with defendants and lawyers one way or another to keep the lights on. Sadly this conflict of interest as it relates to a citizens right to protections under MMMA in their world is an ethics violation (joke) at best, not the crime I truly believe it to be. We need to treat and trust this industry no different than the rippers whom stalk us for subsistence.

to me a club is just drama and dick wagging..my strain is better than yours.
never been to a farmers market, but wouldn't rule the it out if one was close, TC area.
Love the dispensary, walk in, say hello to Doug and the fat black lab and grab what i need and out.
the variety is what I look for in a dispensary.

3, real life, meeting people clubs, and I will never go back.

While I've never bought from a dispensary I've visited some. I find the mark up to be ridiculous. Yes they are taking a risk, a very financially rewarding one at that, but the prices for a regular cannabis user are cost prohibitive. The prices per ounce are as high or higher than black market days. I personally love markets. Been to quite a few and have always walked away satisfied. Not only do I get a large selection, but I can haggle prices for bulk and line the pockets directly of the grower. I think markets are the way to help patients as well as growers.

Eta I find markets/clubs to be full of nice and diverse folks. No dick wagging from my experience. A few douches are at these markets from time to time but it's not like ya gotta buy from them or entertain their antics. If you need a good amount of good quality medicine, want good prices and good folks, definitely it's worth the drive. By the way, I've never had a negative experience at these places and always felt safe at them. Haven't been to one in about 6 months or so as luckily my harvests always hold me over

G3C is definitely worth trying out. The few to join is nominal. The variety great and prices are probably 1/3 less, or more, than dispensaries.

I used to love going to the Jackson FM every weekend. always a huge assortment of flowers, ect around. even tho it was a 3hr round trip.

what are the prices at G3? i can get a oz of mids at the dispensary in Gaylord for $200-250. All the markets are down south (of me) and since i dont buy in bulk, i never had a reason to go there, but if there are good prices, maybe i want to stick my toe in the water
