thats right ,lol
also look it up university studies show alcohol is number 1 gateway drug , and people who dont know limits is abusing it, i work 30hrs wk, grow nd i am a fighter i train 6x a week, smoke average 3 grms a day so u obviously dont speak for every 1,when u say people cant keep priorities ,i like my vacations at home:) to escape bs for a couple hrs
If you began smoking when you were in 6th grade or mabe even 5th would you still be in same position as you are now? I never said it wasnt possible. Infact i said i hope that im wrong and it is possible. I know plenty of people who are older who smoke but they started smoking regularly now that they are older and settled into life. Just my opinion. Liquor and cigarettes are wayyy worst than weed but they should be working on getting rid of deffinet problems before adding a Possibility of another.

You keep quoting the 3 same posts. Maybe you should try typing you're correctly, then post your reply to one person.... If you do that, maybe you won't come off as someone that's more retarded than your dog.

B-U-L-L-SHIT...... i'll tell you why...... look at alcohol. If alcohol can be regulated why cant marijuana be regulated? Alcohol kills people everyday and we all know this, and all you have to be is 21 to buy it. Marijuana kills nobody, so why cant you regulate marijuana just like alcohol, you must be 21 years old to purchase, no driving & smoking, no smoking at the job, etc, etc. Same rules as alcohol.

People dont realize alcohol is killing people everyday, marijuana doesnt kill ANYONE but everybody is so concerned about the legalization of marijauana? I tell you what, id rather my 13 or 14 year old get a hold of some weed rather than alcohol any day.

This is a pretty heated debate here, why is it that people have to go negative over their beliefs. I feel that what a person puts in there body is there business, NO one should be telling anyone what he or she can or can't use. Sadly to many would rather have people who they don't even know telling them what they can and can't do and trust that those people who could gives two shits about you are doing it for your own good LOL now that is stupid.

The only people that don't want marijuana legal are those that are afraid of making pennies compared to the dollars they make at present time.
Greedy, under ground types...

Please someone tell me how legalizing it will make our society as a better whole?!?!? Im not talking about money in peoples pockets either
We'd stop fighting an endless war on drugs. Or at least a big chunk of it. Millions upon millions is spent in trying to eradicate marijuana usage to no avail. Its a useless waste of Gov't money.

The Denver Post in CO has issued several articles on studies covering crime and youth abuse since the medical industry has sprung to life in CO. While it is a medical industry at this point and not completely legal, it is the closest thing that we have to make comparisons and conclusions. With that being said, there has been absolutely no evidence of youth drug abuse rising due to the industry. In fact, it's the complete opposite. LESS children are using pot in CO since the medical industry has been active. LESS. And as far as crime in the areas with dispensaries? That's right . . . LESS crime. People have their right to believe all they want. But before you get on the internet and start spreading poisonous lies, check your facts.

I didn't start till i was 30 yet all my buddies while growing up were smoking at around 13! I grew up in So-Cal, chino hills/chino area to be exact. Its all up to the individual in the end whether he or she will smoke marijuana. I drank my first sip of alcohol at 16 and thinking back ,that was harder to get ahold of than pot.

I was just giving my opinions if that was said towards myself... also, your saying less people are smoking weed because its legal to now be grown and used by sick or handicapped people(no harm ment). I call bs

Nobody has the right to regulate our personal consumption do to their own personal experience and fears. I'm sorry that your genetics have made you fall victim to addiction at one point or another but for a lot of people in this world, that isn't the case. I'm f'ing terrified of heights but you don't see me trying to regulate the countries buildings to one story. lmao . . .

My genetics made me fall victim to addiction? Are you ok? Where would you even pull that from? I said my opinion and you make person comments which makes you an idiot congrats... also as for genetics, my grandfather is a retired an well known doctors and all his kids (my aunts, uncles, father ect) all went to brown. One alone own land in 3 diff states and 6 different properties in new zealand who is very successful, the other 3 siblings also own multiple properties and travel for a living and have jobs extremely high up on the food chain. Hell, even my cousins all went to grad school and making over 100k a year. Oldest cousin is 28 btw. If i had to guess id say my genetics are pretty good.

As for myself, ive lived on my own since 17 and been working since 14. Dont do any drugs at all nor do i drink. I have a 5 month old daughter and pay all my bills alone. Never needed a penny from my family to start the garage i am self employed in... but hell sounds like i have some adiction problems.

Personal attacks makes most of your opinions overlooked.

Here this is just the first one that I found. And this is from numerous states. not just CO. I don't care what ppl 'think'. http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2012/06/18/study-finds-medical-marijuana-has-no-impact-on-teen-drug-abuse/
Do you read before posting? It says clear as day more teens smoking weed rather than tobacco... congrats. Then says it had no significant impact on teen abuse... not anywhere does it says less. Things also take time, doubt cigarettes had the country addicted in short time.

People smoked weed before it was "legal" they going to smoke weed now. Only change is people will have it more available to them. So more drugs means less use? Especially on something that majority of % is younger crowds...

Your right, it does say that teens are smoking more pot than cigs but it's due to the massive drop in tobacco use. Also, it says that cocaine took a huge hit.
