This is why im all over the phrase "right is wrong, left is stupid"
Obama is 100% against marijuana legalization. He is, his controllers are, his lobbies are, the democrats are.
There is no pro legalization candidate except Republican ron paul.
Neither party is for legalazation, consider the democrats, teachers union...police union..these people are not for getting kids on pot or killing the golden goose of a bloated and overreaching police force.
Republicans are no better, im not sure but I think they really like putting colored people in jail.
Still, legalazation? Noone in the goverment is publicly in favor of it, and dont go around waving that democratic congressman's bill in my face. Its going noowhere and compared to the senate the house is about as influental as my penis.

he wants to Decriminalize weed, not legalize it. I would be skeptical at best when it comes to believing what hes saying about that shit. I personally think hes just trying to get the minority vote and the stoner vote(for those of us that vote). Dont get me wrong, that shit would be awesome, but i just dont see our uptight ass country becoming anything like amsterdam whatsoever, where bud is tolerated and accepted. That shit would blow my mind, goin downtown to the coffeeshop next to your local headshop and pickin up an eighth of some diesel or 47. Id spooge. straight up, spooge in my pants.

here is the only info that smokers have to reference whenever they hear about obama n chronic. check it out, n while it does sound awesome, i just wouldn't believe a politician. They have been lying to us for fuckin 200+ years, what makes anyone think that we might have an honest suit on our hands?

I agree that it will not be FEDERALLY lagalized in the next decade, but the battle for decriminalization by state is getting noticed because there are people making that push. If there is a large enough move against it, there is no way the government can ignore us... but ill stop there so I don't so start sounding like a terrorist.

No presedential candidate is going to come out and say they want to legalize pot. That would be pilitical suicide.

In November, 2008, Michigan will be voting on a medical marijuana bill. I really doubt whether we'll see marijuana legalized within the next 20-30 years, but the best we can do is vote for medicinal use. I live in Michigan, and I also use pot to keep me stable; it's the only thing that really takes the edge off. I've spoken to my doctor and he says he'll be able to write me a prescription if the referendum is passed, which is extraordinary news for me and other like me who literally NEED weed to face the day. If any of you live in Michigan, make sure you vote this November!!! It's the first step towards a marijuana-friendly country!!!
