Marijuana in Czech Republic

Czech Drug Laws

I hope some of you know, that in Czech Republic has decriminalized marijuana & other drugs and from year 2011 they will allow to grow max 5 plants and you can carry up to 15 grams. It's still illegal to carry marijuana, but if you get caught up to 15g of dried weed, you won't be charged as a criminal offence, and with plants it's the same deal. After this all I have few misunderstanding and I hope someone who knows could help.

First, if I sell marijuana (no more then 15g) and I got caught on street or at home (undercover cop) would I get any criminal offenses (if I sold marijuana to legal age; with ID check before deal)? If not, what would be the penalty?

Second, if I grow no more then 5 plants, thats clear that I will get more then 15g of dried marijuana at the end, so could I store more then 15g at home, would this be a violation of the law?

that's good to hear that it's been decriminalized. 2011, you're supposedly allowed to carry up to 15 grams but it's illegal to carry marijuana, but if you get caught with under 15g you won't get charged as a criminal offense? so i'm assuming it's just a ticket?

you would have to look those laws up in czech. i have no clue what selling laws are like there...


but if that's really you in the avatar, i'd like to take you with me to the czech republic for a fine vacation.

I'm here in the Czech Republic, having some weed on you, smoking some weed, growing some weed, all fine, but selling is a strict no-no.

you say some................just out of curiosity how many plants would it be safe to grow there.

You can have five plants, legally.

If im planning on growing in CZ... like 5 plants... and i will make sure there are never more than 15g on me of dry Mary.... I will never sell it to anyone... all I want is share my knowledge and experience with other people.... can I talk about that to friends and random people? I understnad that they wont put me in prision for that or get a criminal offense? but will they still fine me? or police wont really care? im if i really will not hide that im growing and smoking... and whats the genereal attitude of public?

and one more question... is there a thread or forum here where people from CZ hang out???
