i've just had a read through this book, and looking at his equipment am suprised how he's managed to get 8oz of bud in just 2 months?!

no professional nutes have been used, just simple MG and just CFL's have been used. so if i was to follow this journal to try and get 8oz in two months, what should i take into consideration from this grow and use in mine?

our setup side-by-side:

my setup............................................seemorebuds
600w HPS............................................ x8 47w CFL's
biobizz lightmix......................................miracle grow (with nutes)
white widow/lemon skunk........................mango + blue dot
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
biobloom...............................................co2 bucket (i don't have)
topmax
hesi tnt complex

above is both of our setups. my question is, to get the yield he did in 2 months what would i have to adapt from his grow to be able to achieve this, and how did he manage it under such a small set up?

is my strain a high enugh yielder to achieve this and if i follow his journal as much as i can, would it be possible to get 8oz in 68 days?

i'd be growing at least three plants obviously, but if i'm going to veg for only 16 days should i grow about 6-7 plants with the light i have?

another factor i know that comes into account is the plants health from start to finish - so the questions i've asked are on the basis my plant has a happy, healthy life!

just for the record.... unless its autoflowering your not going to grow a plant from seed-bud in 68 days. period.

it takes 50+ days to flower alone, and they do need time to veg.

I can't really answer your questions here...... but I can tell you that I got this book 3 mos ago and for the most part followed it for my first grow of bag seed....... Now I had a few issues as all noobies will and do, some may have stunted growth or hurt the plant IDK? It grew in Veg for 30 days not 16, then flowered for around 60 days. It didn't yield much more then about 1.5 ounce, I have no scale but based on mason jars filled.... For a first time and without a lot of expense in lights and stuff, I was able to grow some fresh FUNKY FUNK, drying now.

I have some other girls I took as clones from her, those I let veg as long and did better on watering and light placement, so they may do better then the first girl. I think book is ok and can get someone with basic know how started, had I not known as much as I did, I don't think the book would have been that good, it leaves too many unanswered questions and the photos could have been better and larger. Over all I did find it helpful and used it to do a ghetto grow and I'm getting good results so far with one plant done. I can see it's possible to yield more if the grow is done right, but not 8oz in 68 days with as little lights as he had as first time grower.

From all of this I have learned, it not that hard to grow good medical grade smoke, you can even treat your girls like trashy little street hookers that owe their pimp money, bitch slap um, and they will still put out what you need in the end if you just follow some basics, air dirt water light, it's one hardy plant. The next cycle should do better in yield and over all growth if I don't make the same mistakes as the first plant.

I have also ditched the MG potting and gone to Fox Farms and nutes for the next girls, so far so good.

look it is simple, if you grow from a clone it is possible. So you would need a veg room that is already supplying clones. Then you will do it easy with your 600W hps. I presume the the cfl's is for your veg room ;-) So the two months will be to flower your clones thats your 9 weeks flowering. I dont think you can do it from seed to bud in two months, your total will prob be like 5 months.

FYI- I did seed to bud in less then 3 mos using the book. Seeds started on Jan. 28th and buds harvested on April 23rd.
