Wish I could have gone.
Estimates on the crowd size so far is 1.5 million marchers.

Are you watching Congress?
Are you watching Obama?

At no time did ABC News, or its affiliates, report a number anywhere near as large. ABCNews.com reported an approximate figure of 60,000 to 70,000 protesters, attributed to the Washington, D.C., fire department. In its reports, ABC News Radio described the crowd as "tens of thousands."
lol nice Natrone. Yeah I am not sure if congress or Obama saw those huge crowds. Hell I think that is about the size of a high school football game.

Madison square garden holds 20,000. I think it's a little bigger than a high school football game lol

The Sunday shows put on by America's Pravda (CBS and NBC) hardly covered it at all. To be expected, I guess.

Yeah but the ones that make their living off of making the news instead of reporting it were all over it I am sure.

Making their living off of the news? You mean CBS, NBC, ABC and MSNBC don't run commercials during their "news" broadcasts and simulated news programs like Face the Nation and Meet the Press?

When was the last time you saw both sides of an issue strongly debated on either of these two shows?

A day or so ago, but I agree it is not the norm.

But when I see a "news" show start by saying something that is an opinion, then turnign around and reading peoples e-mails that are just regurgitating what they had said, then using those numbers to poll the questions that they had already had people discuss, then using the earlier e-mails like they somehow reinforce their points, is rediculous.

You really think any main stream news today does any work on fact checking, and making sure they are being responsible journalists?

Seriously I think they all wet themselves when they found out that guy in the NY times made up a story a few years ago and realized it was much cheaper and easier to do that.

I think they are all agenda driven, especially NBC and it's affiliates. They are so in the tank for Obama its not funny. You know the story behind the owner of NBC, right? If not, let me know and I'll lay it out for you. ;-)

I am trying to not get snappy, but seriously, 'especially NBC'.

That is such a joke. I would be willing to go off on a limb and say that you don't really watch it much. So if you have some time turn on CNBC around 8-10ish and hear how they tear into him like he is the worst thing ever. Then later feel free to hear them rip on him in over on MSNBC.

I don;t care what threads have been woven about the owners, I am willing to bet you can find them if people are willing to do so on any major company and the owners of the major 'news' will be the same way.

The fact that the NBC's are whores and just want to get ratings no matter what simply means that they are going to try to stir up hateful rhederic whereever they can. And the fact that MSNBC has about 50% of their anchors that douche on Obama, and 50% that douche on the republicans, I wouldn't be surprised if they pull out Fox's tag line "Fair and Balanced" soon.

Rupert Murdoch is the biggest joke.

Now, what does the owner of Fox have to do with the owner of NBC?

Your posts are becoming a little childish, jrh ... and not becoming of you at all.

It is a shame that we cannot get people out like this for something like helping kids get educated.

Instead they are this worried about getting 14 million people or so insurance that don't have it.

Infact I bet if you look at the money that they spent to do this protest it would be well on the way to getting this paid for.
With all the anti ads, the 20 million ($10 bucks a person if there were 2 million people) air time, lobbyists, ect this would probly be a few hundred million spent. This amount being spent over 10 years would be about 3 billion dollars, Imagine how far that would go into the 10b that they are looking for.

All in the name of stopping something that would out almost everyone in one way or another.

Yawn. Dick Armey couldn't even collect the size of one typical Obama rally during the election.

Some of the signs these morans (as they spell it) were carrying, so classy. Especially the one that compared 'Africans in the zoo' with 'Africans in the White House'.

This pretty much says it all.
