Maple Leaf, outdoor in Ireland

Hello all!

I planted about 40 very young plants outside back in the end of july, I went out yesterday to check on them and found a few eaten and a few not growing but there's still about 20 very healthy looking plants.

One problem is, why arent they flowering yet? I was thinking I might even harvest when I went out yesterday! I couldnt even take the males out!

Im not 100% sure that they are maple leaf by Sensi seeds because the seeds were in an ounce I bought but it's a pretty obscure strain and it is an indica so Im gonna guess that it is Maple Leaf

Any ideas? There's no lightbulbs for miles where they are planted

How big are they? Have they shown preflowers yet?

My plants are flowering at the moment.
They are around 2 foot tall now I'd say, absolutley no sign of flowering yet!

Ive had 3 succesful indoor grows so I know what Im looking for.

It's an afghan variety and apparently they take around 50 days to finish flowering so if they do start soon I should get something out of them but do strains ever start this late?

They are very tricky to get out to so Ill be back out the weekend after next to check up again, hopefully the males will have shown themselves by then!

What strain are you doing?

Mine started to flower there around two weeks ago, im growing a super skunk and a power flower. The power flower is a little ahead of the skunk.

My afghan is flowering and has been for about 1 month, not sure why your's aren't :-/

Get some pics next time you go down. Sometimes plants don't show preflowers until they're ready, regardless of photoperiod. Are they small?

EDIT: mine didn't even show preflowers until they were about 2 1/2 foot tall.

But flowering is all about the dark hours isnt it? I didnt think it had anything to do with how tall they get?

The end of July eh? That explains the retardant flowering, that's late to put out my friend, seems like you planted too late and that's it. Nobody noticed that?
