Clones arrived today!!!
The Garanimals, Grandpa's Breath and Cotton Candy looked awesome top to bottom. The La Plantina and the Watermelon Zkittlez look awesome on top but they do have what might look like some root rot issues. Freaking summer heat!!! But none the less, awesome service.

Just want to follow up because I may have been quick to jump to conclusion. The La Plantina and Watermelon Zkittlez were hit with some regalia before being shipped. This may have caused the coloration on the roots not root rot. The ladies look great so far. No drooping or yellowing of leaves. Alyssa already offered to replace them but I am keeping my fingers crossed that they are good to go.

As much as it sucks that they are being regulated and not able to ship out of Cali, it is still awesome to watch them grow and achieve the success that they deserve. They still plan on being a great resource for the community even to us consumers outside of their market.
Here is a note I got from Alyssa:
"You can linger all you want! When we open these locations there will be a big focus on sharing the information and knowledge with you all online. Brooke has only worked with me in the garden for small tasks in the past. We plan to vlog as much of her training as possible. Before things got complicated with my garden situation last fall I was going live almost every day in the garden and sharing what I was doing with you all. I feel like Brooke's beginner status gives us a great opportunity to answer questions that come naturally to people who have never grown cannabis before. I have to teach her how to soak rockwool trays... might as well record us doing it. We still hope to be a great resource for growers across the country even if our plants are no longer accessible out of California. Thanks again for the love and support. Hope things have been wonderful on your end."

I started 60 cuts of the MamaFunks in rockwool today. I normally don't use rockwool, and I hope I did it right. Soaked 'em in 5.00ph water. Came out 5.5 after an hour. Sat 'em on top of 1 inch of coarse perlite. Cover on and closed. Fingers crossed they do well. MamaCindy?

I don’t use rock wool either and wasn’t certain what I was going to do. All mine had roots coming out so figured they’d take in soil right away so just buried them. They have taken except for the 3 that had problems from the start. They didn’t make it unfortunately.

I’m gonna bury my rock wool in soil the roots are coming out the wool so it should take ..all my clones look healthy and happy I’m glad I waited out the heat wave

I did the same with mine with the soil, when they arrived. My soil mix wasn't allowing them to drain as much as I liked so I added more perlite and corrected the problem. The rockwool seems to retain too much water unless you have really good drainage. I am learning how to deal with it since i haven't used it much. The cuts I started the other day are looking well so far. Hopefully I'll have scores of healthy little 'funks soon!
