Male Plants Any Good? What to do with them?

Hey guys, so i have 2 male plants that are already 4 weeks into flowering, they are producing pollen. Is there any thing i could do or make out of them? Do they have THC? Thanks

They definitely do not produce enough thc to make it worth your while. They will not form buds as male plants do not flower in that manner. What they will do is risk future crops. having male pollen sacks open in a grow room or grow box allows them to release their pollen. that pollen has the potential to collect on the sides of your room, the insides of fans and ducting, and tons of other spots you wouldnt think of. That pollen then has the ability to kick it until you have some lovely ladies that are capable of being pollinated.

If the males you have are of superior genetics and you intend on cross breeding plants, then by all means flower them, collect pollen, and store it. However the process of breeding plants and then stabilizing the offspring's genetics can be very tricky and time consuming. In my opinion, I say you chop them fuckers, scrub your grow area, and try again. i know how painful it can be chopping something that you grew buuut sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do..

Male plants are generally considered bad and are usually thrown out. The reason is that they contain very low levels of THC, not enough to get you high. But they also pollinate females if left with them. They will do this if left with them, no matter what. And if the females get pollinated, they will produce seeds. You'll get seedy bud (if you're selling, this is bad, because seedy bud is generally considered bad, since the THC levels are lower).

Some people want seeds, and if you're okay with seedy weed (it's still smokeable and will get you high, still decent weed, but not as good as unpollinated bud), keep them. But if you have no need for seeds, remove the males and get rid of them. Just cut them up and put them in bags (use a lot of bags and spray some strong smelling stuff in there, because that stuff is going to reak, and somebody could find it, giving you away).

You can smoke the leaves if you want, but many people who have done this have reported that they did not get high. You can keep a few of the leaves just for the keepsake (I don't know, I'd like to get a whole weed leaf and just save it in some plastic). You can use it to make some cool weed designs, if you're into that. Or maybe a good, trustworthy friend wants it (you could possibly use them for rolling papers).

i kept my males just for expeirence, i hear u can smoke and eat the leaves the taste good and give a non couch lock high

Good for making rope.

They're only good for one thing, and thats pollenating your females. If those males are still, or were still with the females 4 weeks in they've definately pollenated any females.
