Too early to tell for sure, but if i had to guess in would say male. Keep us posted.

Most likely male. At that stage it also looks a lot like a female flower but usually when they're that asymmetrical leaning one way with the more sharp angular ridge on the side it's a male. My advice would be to keep watching it until you're absolutely certain. That gives you a chance to see how it developes.
Male and female preflowers both have a few different possible early appearances. Some are pretty similar to each other and others are completely different. It takes at least a few rounds with a decent number of seeds to have them all enough to be able to id them at the early stage of the first preflowers.
