Hermaphroditism is a genetic trait that.most females have not.sure about males usually only breeders cultivate eem but fem seeds from a herm are more likely to herm . a true female will not herm at all because its.not in the genetics
do you think the above pics have hermied on me

ok..not how you wrote it tho..but still i have an issue with that, what if you take a "true female" and force herm it to make fem beans...you didnt change the genetics one bit but your saying since they are fem beans now they have a higher chance of herming?...plus those that didnt herm may just be more stable and can still have a recessive gene for herming i believe..its a survival tool and it cant be done away with but even a plant with a good possibility to herm likely wont if you do everything right..basically what your explaining is the way fem seed companies weed out the ones they dont want to use because yes they dont want that trait at all so then why would fem beans be more likely to herm!? if done right with those "true females" they are no more likely to herm than an unlucky reg bean is that carries a higher genetic tendancie to herm?!

you have to be careful what your taking pics of...the last picture looks to be just side branches forming and not a male sack or a pistil...the preflowers will only come from the spot in between the main stalk and a side branch then on an actual branch in between the main branch and any new 3rd branch off the branch, follow?? so some new growth you see will always be just branches growing but that will stop when flowering kicks in...you have been flowering three weeks now and noooo white hairs anywhere tho??

bad genetics or stress but your plants are not herms you would see some pistils forming or some white hairs protruding from them...anyway its way less common to find a male that herms than female
so basically do evreything precise and no stress keep consistancy with them got it lol finicky:leaf:

lol dude your just wrong...their is not a fucking cannabis plant on the planet that if mistreated and abused will still not ever herm..by saying that your basically saying if a fem company takes 50 beans and of those they get 10 males they take their 40 females and play with lights temps etc. and 20 herm easily, they throw em out have 20 left, then of those 20, they finally get 15 more to herm trying a little harder..your trying to tell me the other five will just never herm if they are these "true females"...nope sorry man the company will throw away the other 15 too and then clone those five and harrass the fuck out of those clones until they hermie man..no such thing as a plant that WILL NOT hermie

well really its easier than it sounds they arent as finicky as i or others make it out to be ive only had like 2 plants ever herm on my...but that doesnt mean you dont shoot for perfect and if it isnt perfect you will be fine...its those people shooting for easy and not paying attention and then they arent fine still

aha!! found what i knew! right as usual!!

Environmentally induced hermaphrodite cannabis plants can not be tested for, at this time, and do not pose the same risk to the rest of the room. These hermaphrodites are not “true” hermaphrodites and usually pollinate themselves. ANY cannabis plant can be induced to revert to a hermaphroditic state by stress. By stressing a cannabis plant, you have tapped into its inherent survival programming. Our motto is, “Know before they show…” Montana Biotech

so their you can stress induce a hermie from any plant be it a genetic herm or not!!!!!!

lol things dont encounter hormones they make them..i say things without checking huh..ive checked this shit since i was 14 fucking years old, so the knowledge may not be attached to a source anymore but i know what i know and even though you almost talked me out of it i was pretty sure i knew this to be true too. i listened to what you had to say, as minimalistic and random as it was, turns out your the one who isnt "checking up on it" since you saw "some study" and "dont remember exact figures" and the fact that your the only one running around saying their are certain plants immune to getting male sacks should clue you in that your wrong as well, also i did look it up just to be sure and quoted it above ANY plant can be stressed into a hermaphroditic state so why am i smug because you have 38 posts and your going to bring up something stupid and random that doesnt belong in this thread and because your simultaneously spreading misinformation and its simply annoying when i have to help people out who have alredy been "helped" by people like you.. im going to stick to my very first comment to you on the subject.

I heard for a seed to be truly feminized it has to be eaten by a bird and crapped out. I read that somewhere too. It did not make it fact. Probably didn't keep some boob from trying.. but I guess that is the point. Keep trying man, you'll get a girl soon and you will be happy. Be careful the advice you take. You may just end up with a pile of bird crap with seeds in it.
