Male Hermie

So, when I grow regs, I like to keep the best male to make seeds, so i can revisit those genetics if i ever lose them, etc. Plus i like to pollen chuck and make a few crosses for the future. I usually will put my male in the flower room at lights out, then move him back to the veg area in the morning. Since i am a stoner, sometime this schedule gets fucked up or i forget for a day. Anyway, my latest male started showing female hairs....straight hermed out on me. I'm hoping it's due to me fucking up the schedule, but what is the consensus on this? Do I use his pollen or trash him? He has awesome features which is why i ask.

I think maybe you misunderstood. I'm not looking for a diagnosis, but rather what people's thoughts are on males that herm. From what i have read, all of the negativity about herms is focused on females, not much on males. It probably doesn't matter, b/c I'll probably never get to the seeds anyway.

I had a similar situation arise and now have seeds from a male plant that produced female flowers on a branch and now have about ten tiny perfectly fully formed seeds.

It's from a purple godbud×purple budda male, I'm wondering if these are all male or hermie seeds. Maybe a test run is in order.
