Male has Pollinated

Hi all

This is my first grow, I had 5 plants 1 was almost 5 weeks, 2 were 4 weeks and 2 were 2 almost 3 weeks, all started under cfls, then moved at 1 week to 600w hps, all plants seem to be OK, until about 3 days ago, when I noticed the oldest and largest plant was a male, not only that, but he had already produced pollen sacks that had split, so I presume that the other plants were pollinated, but heres my question, would this trigger the other plants into flowering, as the remaining plants seem to have started, even the youngest plants at almost 3 weeks. Also, one of the older plants leaves have started to curl inwards from the sides, (not up from the tips), this only started after I noticed the male had split its sacks. The male is gone now, but a bit late I know. I don't know what strain the plants are, they are on a 23/1 light cycle, and are watered regularly. I use a Plagron Soil mixed with bat Guano, and no other Nutes. So would this trigger them into flowering. As I say, its my first grow, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks all

Hi bigballin

Thats what I thought, maybe I am wrong and they are not flowering, as I say its my first grow and I am easily confused, and I could be lowryder, as I don't know what strain they are.

Thanks for your quick response.

more than likly they are not flowering at 5 weeks you should veg them untill they are 12 " or so then change to 12/12 then they will flower real nice in about 10 weeks from when you switch lighting cycles

How many plants you got flowering? If they are all in the same room and on same light cycle the male couldn't have pollenated. So they must be auto flowering plants, if they are showing sex with that type of light cycle they are definitely auto-flowerers. I'd isolate the plants that may have been caught by the pollen, save them for their seed, then smoke and sell the bud. The bud should be worth about half the value... but what you lose in bud you gain in seed...

Hi

The 2 larger plants that are almost 5 weeks are around 18" to 20" tall. The male plant definitely pollinated, I noticed the pollen on the lower leaves of the male first. I actually thought it was discolouration on the leaves, and touched it and it came off, then I noticed the sacks on the plant, and as I lifted it to remove it from the rest, the pollen was falling from the sacks. They have always been on 23/1 lights, I started them on 24/0 on cfls then when they moved to the hps they are on 23/1. Also the smell has got alot stronger, pungent even. I was given the seeds and told they would be reliable and easy to grow, thats all, so they maybe an auto flowering strain. I suppose I will know soon enough. Any ideas why the leaves on one of the plants are curling inwards from the sides ?

Thanks again for all your advice, appreciated.
