Male flowers coming in....during week 7 flower??? What is this?

Ok, so I think this is a "male" flower coming in on some bud that is in week 7 flowering. Never showed any hermie or male signs till now.

1. What is it, is it male flower?
2. How much should it effect my harvest, will it have seeds for sure now?

But if it looks anything like that, yes it is a male flower.
Supposing it actually is a male flower, you could always cut it off. Even if you left it or there were a few you didn't happen to notice, you might be late enough into flower that it wouldn't seed anyways. How long do you have left?

Light leaks during the dark period can lead to this as you may know, much sure your dark period is really dark.

You're so far into flowering and it seems to just be an isolated male flower. Put a plastic bag over it to protect the pollen from getting on your female, and yank it off. You'd be surpirised how much one little pollen sack can pollenate. I wouldn't stress over it though, you may have a few seeds in the section around that male flower, but unless it opened and flew around the room, I wouldn't worry. Don't try the Dutch Master Reverse, it doesn't work. It's not worth it in your case anyway. Pull it off, keep an eye for more...and you'll be fine

I should mention, there are several of those throughout the garden, so its not isolated. Do you think I have seeds already, or in danger of getting some if pollinated? I am close to harvest, i could harvest early to be safe, or just give it the last 2 weeks.

wekk if your week 7 then your gonna be harvesting in a week so i wouldnt worry about it and if even youll get a couple seeds to keep for next grow

Ya thats what I was thinking. I Dont know how quick seeds can grow, but the buds are well developed. Can it really even get bad this late in the game?

Did you use feminized seeds ?

No I didnt use feminized seeds. But i have been reading some stuff about this is kind of how feminized seeds are made. May be cool to gather some pollen from this strain if possible. Anyone know how? I hope I dont get many seeds, I really want this strain to mature because it will turn pretty solid purple. So the consensus is to let it mature or harvest a bit early?

Let it mature. Whatever damage you have has already happened. Let the plants develop and get the best possible buds you can.

I know right! Thats why i need to know if I should hit the panic button or not. Anyone been here, done that? seen these? Harvest or let fully mature?

No worries, it's too late to get any seeds. All you can do, is pick em off and throw 'em away. They'll keep popping up here and there, so keep an eye out, and try to catch them early. They don't release pollen immediately, so that's another thing in your favor. The only bad part, is that you shouldn't clone it, or you'll have those "bananas" again, possibly worse than this time. I had a sativa that did that, and I picked 'em off, cloned it, and ended up with a shitload, next time around. They come out earlier, too. I was tedious and picked every one of those off too(at least a hundred), and the smoke was awesome. I didn't keep it around though, too much work.

I had this very same problem for my last two grows. My advice is to chop immediately. First time around I thought a week or two wouldn't be enough time to really hurt, when I did harvest there were dense plants that became entirely seeds. This time around i wasn't expecting seeds but they popped up again and I cut immediately and I have a lot more to work with this time around.

You would have to wait for the pollen sacks to open up and either collect the pollen manually (which can be preserved) or introduce to a younger flowering female. It is important to note that this isn't nearly as easy as it sounds. The part where you let the plants have intercourse may seem pretty straight-forward, but unless you're damn skilled and know a lot more about the genetic background of the plant you're collecting pollen from you could just end up with seeds that will tend to grow into hermaphrodites.
If that plant had any genetic predisposition for it then you would be essentially be selecting for hermaphroditism, and the trait could be passed to the offspring. The result could mean more male flowers on your "female" plants.
Experienced professionals produce feminized seeds with a much higher degree of consistency by inducing the male flowers chemically with gibberellic acid or more recently silver salts.

Thanks guys, I decided to pick them a week early. Glad i made that decision, already found a couple Immature seeds. I think leaving them a week or two would have caused many more. I gotta figure out if this is something i did, or if the plant was pre-disposition to do this. The only thing i did which could have caused stress was adding "MOAB" which is a strong nute. Could this have caused the problem?

Examine the buds carefully for more male flowers. Even when they are dry you should be able to notice, especially if there are clusters of them as opposed to just one or two. If you are breaking up some of that bud and suddenly a bunch of dust flies everywhere, that is most likely pollen.
I have no idea about that nutrient, but where exactly did you get your seeds from?
If it was bag seed then it was more likely predisposed to it and not anything you did. Again, any light leaks what-so-ever during your dark period can factor into this.

not from seed, from clone. So stress and genetics seem likely. I cant imagine any light leaks, actually early on i did open the door when lights were out, this was like week 2 maybe of flower
