Making True Feminized Seeds

I was reading about methods of making feminized seeds. Heard it doesn't exist true 100% female seed (they can become hermaphrodite).

Saw an article saying professional breeders stress plants until they find a true female (who don't show male characteristics) so they separate them to pollinate. Those plants will make seeds with a extremely high rate of female (+99%).

Now I'm wondering if I can buy feminized seeds from a known and respectable seed bank (like Dinafem), plant them outdoors and use Colloidal Silver on them to create feminized offspring. Is that possible?

Yes it is possible. You will be inbreeding the inbred though. I would guess some of your offspring would not be viable (to a varying degree depending on how inbred the genetics were previously). You're better off using a true F1 to do this IMO.

That was a fast reply (thank you).

Is that anyone with inbred offspring experience?

Is there any other way for me to make "copies" of specific seeds (in my case OG Kush from Dinafem's) so I don't have to pay a fortune for my outdoor grow (and save for next year's)?

You could keep a small mom and grow her out and take some clones when the time comes. IMO this will get you the best result, unless you introduce a male into the mix. Or start from regular seed and then make S1's when you find a plant you like (although you should know you might have recessive genetics you don't like that will show up).

True - you can't guarantee 100% female. Its higher then the 50/50 odds otherwise. Yes strongest female expresses everything you want. You know this because you've seen it through and early on visual see the expression.

CAUTION: First be completely aware that any part of a plant that you spray with colloidal silver IS NOT SAFE FOR CONSUMPTION (smoking or ingesting). The pollen created is completely safe to use and all seeds created with that pollen are safe.

Not sure what to make of that. We don't actually smoke or consume the seed.
