making seeds?

i am preparing for my second grow, I am planning a perpetual 12/12 from seed with cfl's......... what is the best way to produce seeds?? I know I can poilinate a female, but what am I looking for in a male??? Also, I have read that a female will produce seeds if left long enough in flower, is one method better than the other??

unless your plant turns into a hermie your gonna have to have male pollen to make seeds. i've never heard of a female making seeds with out male pollenand normally the plant is in full flowering when the seeds begin to form.

the method hes talking about is if you leave a maturing keep flowering past the reg expect flowering stage that the plant will produce sacs these sacs are supposed to be in the end feminised seeds.

never tried it personally but am considering trying this method with one of my plants when it gets to that time anyways

If you want a perpetual harvest/ 12/12, why not use clones instead of seeds?

1. i dont want to run a seperate area to maintain mothers, and I dont want to bother with taking clones and hoping they root...

2. I havent seen it done before and i have about 500 seeds so why not...

exactly rep for you, my hope is to find the ladies I like most and let them go until they seed eventually it will be 12/12 from seed with feminiszed seeds that I am producing... at least thats my theory
