if I force a plant to herm using light stress during flowering will this plant produce feminized seeds? will the phenotypes be more stable? because this strain had a few different, very different phenos.

from what ive read online is let your female plant flower way longer than needed and it will produce male bannanas, take those male flowers and then pollinate a female of the same strain and that will give you fem seeds.you can also force male flowers on a female by using some kind of chemical but i dont remember what its called or where you would get it

theres 2-3 different methods. some involve treatment with chemicals such as colliadial silver that forces a true female plant to produce male pollen, but with female DNA, not hermie.
another but much more risky (of producing a hermie) technique is to over ripen your buds in the hope that some male flowers (bananas) will appear. pollen is collected and then used to pollinate the same mother it was retrieved from. this is a 50-50 gamble, and theres no way of telling untill you flower the plants grown from these seeds

btw on my last grow i had 3 hermies( im putting it down to bad genetics coz the grow was textbook) and i used the dm reverse they talk about and all my problems stopped, cant say for sure if it was the chemical but i'd say it was worth the £30($50 i guess)

ive heard of using that silver before but i dont understand what the difference between doing that and light stress is. it seems like they would both have the same effect becase both ways are stressing the plant. whats the difference?

the chemical probly gives you quicker flower times for the male bannanas, just a guess though.
