Freeze precipitate the naphtha and reuse it for future pulls. You get purer crystals in the freezer and solvent isn't being needlessly wasted through evaporation.

Leave tray in freezer overnight, pour off naphtha in the morning making sure to leave all the crystals in the pan, let the tray dry and scrape. You should have fairly white crystals at this point. Recrystallize as many times as necessary to get them to desired purity.

Reduce the temperature as gradualy as you can to lock as few contminants into the crystal structure. Reuse the poured off naphta for more pulls, there is still some left in the naphta and the tea., when you get no more percipitation of crytals is when you can think of evaping naphta. I'm not a big fan of evaped spice as it always seems to have a nasty smokeing yellow film. I use only Neon brand lighter fluid, as it seems to provide the cleanest crystal end product with almost no taste and smooth on the throat.

I'd like to learn what you did. Do you mind if I take a guess at the steps, and ask a couple questions?
What you did was cut up the green matter, then soak in vinegar. You filtered resulting solution, and threw away the solids. Then you added napha to the acidic, aqueous solution, and shook them. Repeated that liquid-liquid extraction a few times, pouring off the napha each time and saving it. After three extractions, you threw away the aqueous, refridgerate the napha, and filter off the crystals that precipitated out. Finally, you dry the crystals.
Questions: Have you considered using a mortis and pestle, and grinding them in the vinegar?
Napha isn't a chemical, but a fractioning cut of oil. Did you pick it because it was easily obtained?

Its certainly not the best but its one of the easier teks for extraction beginners. There really isn't one best way to extract it because they all yield fairly pure, smokable product but some methods create purer product than others. ya i meant one of the best guides ive found not best method. ive found 3 i plan to try.

I have smoked more than my share of dmt and am i the only one who likes the yellow and red "jungle spice" better than the pure "clean" white and clear stuff?

I've been to dmt nexus. It helped a bit. Before i went camping with my family i desidide to do a pull. It was a small pull, about to post pics.

yup.

Added naptha to the vinegar mixture to defat.


Base solvent.

Filtered off the naptha.
Mixed both of the two vinegar mixtures together than added base solvent.
After mixing the base solvent with vinegar mixture i shook it up.
Added naptha, shook, let it sit for 30 mins.
Filtered off naptha.

poured it in the pan to let it sit for 3 days.

After the 3 days i scaped the pan.


The browness is on the pan, not the crystals by the way.
I missed a lot of pictures in between and sped up the process a bunch.
Wondering if this is a good yeild? I'd say between 200 and 300 mg. I will try it out soon for my first time.

You don't need to use such a big dish to freeze percip. You get bigger xtals when the stuff is all close together. And as said before, reduce temp as gradualy as possible and don't bump the dish.
