Making A Vegging/Cloning Tub Cabinet Help Me Plan....PLZ

Ok...so I have a 4'x5' room I'm currently growing in but I want to get a crop rotation in order so I can have a harvest every month or month and a half. My main room is running a 600w switchable ballast, and I want to use a rubbermaid tub for a cloning/ veg room. Ideally I'd like to take 5-10 clones from my current Blue Mystic plants. Place them in the cloning tray, and then place the tray in the tub. Then once the clones are healthy enough remove the cloning tray, pick the 5 best clones, and veg them in the same tub for 4-5 weeks in small pots. Once veg is complete I can transfer them to the flowering room and ttransplant in 3 gallon buckets. Does this sound dumb??? I picked up a 28 gallon bin today at Target for 9 bucks and have some supplies coming that I will list.

- (4) 250w Daylight CFLs 5500k
- (3) Socket splitter
- (1) Clip-Light


My question is what kind of fan should I used. I really dont wanna spend too much more on it. I've heard of using pc fans but Im not sure how to power them.

I plan on painting the inside with flat white house paint. Should have enough room to put my cloning tray and dome right into it.

If you have any other ideas let me know. I appreciate any help.

for the fans you can use a simple 12v charger.. 1A should take care of atleast 4 fans. 1000 actual watts of cfl? thats alot of heat.. how big is that tub?

a rubber maid for the clones and vegging of clones? that enough space? the rest of the room are you using for flowering with the 600w? Id probably turn the room into two rooms, one veg and one flower, half and half kinda thing. Marijuana plants roots stop growing once they start flowering so maybe you should transplant into 3 gallon pots while they are still in veg. You would be surprised how much clone can grow in 4-5 weeks. If your going to be using the 600w for flowering, You should probably get some more cfls or florescent tubes for vegging.

Well i guess its good i asked. Maybe this isnt the best idea. I just need to figure out a way to have another room. Its a walk in closet kinda thing im using now and I intend to keep this box outside of it. While the room is 4x5 theres not much usable space since theres some built in shelving and shit. I cant really mod too much cause Im renting.

My idea wasnt to have both cloning and vegging going on in the box at once, just cloning and then vegging. then moving into flowering room. So more or less, at any given time I would have 5 plants in vegging, 5 plants in first 4-5 weeks of flowering, and 5 plants in second 4-5 weeks flowering.

I didnt realize roots just completely stop at flowering either,that kinda makes sense. I dunno what to do. I guess its back to the drawing board.

I have another closet slightly smaller right next to it but I dont think I could get the old ball and chain to give it up...hmmmm?
