First of all, Merry Christmas everyone! I have a very wierd question, how do you make a plant slower without impacting the overall health of a plant? Is there a way i could limit the growth of my mother plants proportional to the number of cuttings i need?? My mothers are growing too tall for the mother room and i think i need to make clones of out them and make a new mother :(.

top her, that would also make her shoot side shoot for you to clone, but in general, less light and less food = less grow keep a single CLF in 6500K and dont provide much nuts, just enough to keep her fit and healthy ..

I found it easier to not keep mothers. I veg my girls out and couple of days before switching to flower , I take new cuttings for the next batch.

i lsted/ topped them already, and the side branches are getting too numerous... maybe i can just store them in liquid nitrogen or something till i need them to grow again hahaha.

u think that can work for hydro? just keep dehydrating them and then rehydrating them?

Easiest way to slow grow is drop the temps to 68-72 degrees lights on. And down to 60 lights off. This will slow growth without stunting the plant.

No no, just like brimck said, give em a haircut. They'll recover. Don't worry. Just take em down a peg or two.

Haircut, trim root ball, less nute, less light, cooler temps, she'll be happy after her makeover - just wont grow as fast :)

I keep all my mom's in a small seperate box in my bedroom closet. It has 2 cfl's but I usually keep just 1 on until I need cuts then I put both on to let them grow out abit. I just keep them trimmed like a bonsai tree. I switch them out every once in a while because the soil gets old and seems to be more prone to fungus gnats.

you can throw a mom thats in soil into the fridge with a light on it to slow its growth.
Like said less light, less nutes, lower temps and top that thing.
I dont keep moms tho I jus take cuts off my plants while they are in veg.
