Trying to find some information online about this but so far I haven’t been able to wondering if it’s a bad idea to start a mother from A feminized seed...
Wondering if it be better to get normal seeds and then sex them and then revert the female back to its vegetative state after Sexing or would it be OK to buy a feminized seeds and start a mother from her using her genetics for about 12 months

The only thing I find with feminized seeds and taking clones after establishing a mother is the clones can turn hermie under stress during the flowering stage.

Other than that if your trying to find a good genetic from a bunch of seeds; feminized would the way.

Thanks I appreciate it I just got some ethos genetics feminized and I’ve read so much good things about it I’m going to try to start some clones and create an environment stress-free it’ll be at difficulty with some temperatures but hopefully will be OK thanks man for your input

If you are short on space or plant counts, just grow them all out, and pick your favorite one. Leave enough on the plant to reveg it after you harvest and veg it back out to be a mom. Then take cuts from her.
I’ve heard from my friend that doing that might cause some genetic malfunctions after re vegging and I might get a bunch of possibly Hermes .....if not I have some critical impact it’s growing right now that’s seven days from harvest that I would love to re-veg and use as clones just not sure if I can genetically do it safely

Nothing changes in a plant when revegged. Its bullshit bro science. If it was fire, grew huge and had a certain smell.....100% of those attributes will still be there on a reveg. It will literally be the exact same plant.
Thank you That’s awesome I’ll go ahead and do that in about eight days with my critical impact ..I’ll look at some videos of course but how much would I leave on her and she’s got about 3/4 to a unit on her right now ...And what I need to replant her at all in a bigger pot

You want to leave the lower 1/3 of the plant and be sure to leave buds, fan leaves etc all intact. Im in hydro, so I also cut my root ball down when I switch back to veg. I dont know what the soil guys do in regards to that. Once the plant starts showing signs of reveg (throwing new single blade leaf etc) I then begin to cut off what isnt needed by the plant anymore like the old buds etc. This usually takes me about 4+ weeks to get going.

Thank you I will follow that as well I appreciate the information hopefully will get a lot of good babies from this critical impact ...I’m running Coco Now I was doing Deepwater culture but there were so many problems with that I figured I would do Coco and it so far has been a breeze comparably speaking just doesn’t produce as much
