so guys and im hoping grizzly can help me on this one....my girls have been on 12/12 for 6 days now and in the last 3 days ive noticed classic thrip damage (see through patches on the leaves) on all of my plants it wasnt untill tonight i sat with my microscope and had a closer look that i noticed atleast 50 of the fuckers they are the wingless variety the look like little yellow lines and the can move very quick... i also found 2 baby caterpillers, but i have been having problems with moths somehow getting in to my tent so im guessing thats were the caterpillers came from im hoping the 2 and killed is the last of them? i drenched all the leaves with a water spray would this have any damage on the plants? it is just a tempory measure untill i can get some organic pesticide later on today once i get the pesticide how long does it usually take to eradicate thrip?

Get you some Captain jack's dead bug brew and they will be gone very quick. It has spinosad in which kill thrips every quick. Make sure whatever you get has spinosad in it and you are good to go.

Neem repel only retards their growth.

Anything with SPINOSAD in it will kill them.

I can confirm this after having thrips and using this to kill them

NEEM REPEL is good if you arent infected already as a preventative measure. THis is what i use as a repellent.

I would say yes as i have used it with good effect during flowering

However you do have to be carefull not to soak your bud sites. BUt this early on in flowering it will not be too detrimental.

Make sure that if you use it you also soak the top layer of your medium.

You should try and do this a few days apart and you should see the numbers dwindle down and then go completely.

I have to order it from the US.

Neem Repel will retard the growth of the THRIPS but not kill them completely. IF you only use NEEM REPEL you will still have them come harvest time.

If you can get NEEM REPEL then also try PEST OFF from the same manufacturer. It is a starch based product that suffocates the thrips. IT will not help any larvae that are in your soil but if you stop them from reproducing using both of these 2 things then you should be ok.

Personally i like to order my SPINOSAD as it kicks bugs arses!

It is a living bacteria that kills the thrips.

Similar to that of GNATOFF again by the same manufacturer of the PEST OFF.

It inhibits their feeding and dries them out.

This is organic read this from this site

Hope this helps bro. If you get the PEST OFF and NEEM REPEL order the SPINOSAD ready for any future grows. It is really concentrated and you only need a teaspoon or so in a 500ml spray bottle.
