you do need good eyesight!....those preflowers are tiny......most often i make the determination without seeing pistils....just by the shape of the pre-calyx......the female pre-calyx is blade like, similar to the tip of a blade of grass(top view)...whereas the male is usually blunt, with a tiny hook on it......

yo...lets move to Nugbuckets lab!....keep things simple....all the main-lining, and everything else is happening there!

just wanted to say nugs, your a genius. i will give this a run on one of my next females. does this just increase yield , or is the main purpose just to increase the quality of the total yield with more top buds and less smaller buds? or both? i and do you remove any more fan leaves after you have the amount of heads you want?

Nooo! I wish i was for the ride months ago i would of had 6*** heads from the main hub after toppeing each node because i have this crazy pheno from my hashberry that is growing three internodes on the main stock rather than the typical two and remember this is a seed but unfortunately its already into flower other wise this would have been a great idea to do on a naturally three internode plant!?!? :,/

ive only got about 30"of height to work with so im am going to have to get mine looking like this. it is my first grow and i am wondering if this is biting off more than i can chew?

Tried this modified LST last time around and although I got great yields it took way too long. I think I just prefer to grow vertical and more plants.

hey all! great thread nug i'm just begginer in growing the babes but i sure love it... i just didn't understand something in the main lining... after you top (at any time, it could be for 2,4 or 8 but my serious doubt is when topping for 2) do you supercrop and LST the 2 main shots that derive from the topped stem or you just LST with those wires to the trunk ??? coz in every plant i see in this magnificent thread i see lost of elbows from the 2 first main shoots ...

can i top my plants with 20 days then supercrop the stems while bonding them with wires ???

i been trying to figure out what mainlining is.. lol.. i do the same thing as you.. top and top and top and top and lst and lollipop.. .. i was asked if i have mainlined mine current grow. i guess what i had done has similar results to this method..... i have no idea.. i dont follow a specific method.. i just clip and and trim and bend and thats it...
